@@felipepassoni4301 bands kinda have to change, bc if they keep playing the same stuff people would be like “they have no variety” and sometimes bands get bored of the same sound so they change up their sound, but when they change up their sound other people go “I miss their old stuff” so no matter what it’s a lose lose situation for bands. I hope I helped you understand why they probably changed their sound

When did metal become such a bland and boring genre? Not a single one of these bands or riffs stands out to me. I think they should try to write genuine songs with catchy and noticeable tunes, instead of trying to fit in with the rest of the herd. Sad how conformist metal seems to have become.

Yea it’s crazy metal is metal. Even synister gates from a7x said in a recent interview about their new album life is but a dream, that there’s only so many ways you can play a guitar with only metal with only rock, so that’s why all of their albums are unique and not the same old same old. It’s cool that you’re doing this and showing how some copied each other not sure how by copy or just by lack of creativity. I can imagine it’s hard to come up with something brand new and unheard of in the same genre
