On the docks that have all that vegetation like Lily pads and stuff, are the bass more under the docks than in the lily pads? Fishing under docks in general would be difficult for me right now since I don't own a boat, and right now I can only go fishing at places that I can get my walker to roll on. I had a hip replacement last February, and I'm getting the second one done, this coming January. By the time I ever get to fish from a boat to fish for bass under docks, I'm hoping to be fishing a lot more than just bass fishing. There's so much inshore, surf and deep sea fishing down here that I really want to get ready for. I do appreciate all your videos. Even this one was pretty good and informative, what it was more entertaining for me. I really need to learn more about what I can do right now and pond fishing or bass fishing I should just say. Those Minnesota bass, what are they exactly, large or smallmouth? They don't look like the traditional smallmouth I remember when I lived up north in Pennsylvania in the rivers, unless they look different from River to lake or pond. But they kind of don't look like the largemouths down here in Florida, either. At least the ones you're catching anyway. Those look a lot fatter than the ones I'm getting down here. I get some long ones, but they're not that fat. I just bought a scale 2 days ago, or I could tell you the weight at least. Keep doing what you're doing Tyler, I appreciate it. Like I told you before I think your videos seem to be the most informative for me. I think a lot of people sit there and explain stuff to you, or go out and fish and don't say a word. The ones that explain a lot, they don't seem to say it in the easy way that you come across. Oh yeah, I thought you were going to have to swim for it. Thanks again, God bless!

Thanks for standing up for non-destructive bass fisherman. However, cutting down on the boat strikes might gain you additional good will. I definitely do my best to minimize those. And if you really feel the need to get right up under a hard-to-reach spot, pick up an unweighted or nail-weighted soft plastic. Docks are one thing, but I don't blame property owners who get miffed at the sound of lead weights dinging their pontoon or chipping their gelcoat.

This trend of anger people on the lake lately is just sad. Hate to be that person that says back in my day but it’s true. Never had a problem decades ago, now everyone is so uptight. The guys I fish with are laid back though some have a short fuse. Had a wake boat that kept coming with 10-15 feet of us once. My buddy hit the driver with a full Pringle’s can! I was upset that snacks are getting used as weapons. Fishing is to escape all that drama.

Us dock owners own the waters out to the center of the water! Ever run into them people? I have. One guy in particular would sit on his dock with a rifle. I sent the city a photo and the cops got involved so did building code enforcement. He had made "improvements" without a permit and they made him remove his dock and resubmit permit papers which takes avg. 2 years to review with environmental impact, levee control agency input, ect , LOL. And the homeowner pays for all of it out of pocket and if the permit is denied he still has to pay.
