You should have eye protection on for all of this, any one of those liquids can cause permanent damage, especially the acids. Even acetone, which isn't as bad as the others burns like hell if you even get a tiny bit in your eye.
@stgigamovement Жыл бұрын
Concentrated hydrochloric acid and the highly-concentrated Sulfuric acid in the Liquid Fire are great at dissolving metals. Getting that stuff on your skin or in your eye would cause significant and painful damage. As for the acetone, it's a solvent that is powerful enough to dissolve even certain plastics. Getting that in your eye wouldn't be pleasant, and also, acetone is not a good thing to handle without washing up afterwards. Solvents in general shouldn't be toyed with. On that note, I did see that the Paint and Epoxy Remover in the video is NOT the one containing the carcinogenic DCM/methylene chloride/dichloromethane. Having said that, alternatives that use toluene and/or xylene are also not something that you want to work with without protection. Also, inhaling the fumes from ANY of the liquids in this video should be avoided at all costs. When working with strong chemicals, especially these, you need a face shield, long chemical gloves, and a protective suit with a proper respirator, in addition to the safety glasses. Acid burns are no joke. They can cause permanent blindness and/or severe burns that disfigure. Also, a closed garage is a REALLY bad place to work with chemicals, because the fumes can build up in a closed space and make the air toxic.
