I'm not sure why it's watery inside the shell but I do know why the shows are so delicate. The sodas eat away at the shells and make them very brittle or week. So what you have left is the very thin membrane around the egg which is the membrane that the baby chicks have to break through when you see them hatching. When we see the baby chicks hatching you see the eggs shells breaking and then something pushing out and you'll see it has like a thin membrane pushing and pulsating. And then they break through that and out comes the baby chicks head that's what keeps the baby and taste inside the shell in case the show happens to crack before they're born.

Some of the eggs are floating bc they have air trapped inside of them. One lifehack is to check if the egg is floating its fresh and if the egg sunk its not as fresh

You have it backwards. The eggs have a thin clear membrane on them when they are released from the cloaca and when that starts to deteriorate the shell of the egg allows air to enter- the more air in the egg the more it will float. So if you want fresh eggs make sure they sink first NOT FLOAT.

The reason why the eggs swell up is bc of osmosis. The pepsi/coke eats away at the shell which creates CaCO2. If you put the peeled eggs into molasses or syrup, it'll shrink bc all of the sugars are drawing out the water. Its a thing I learned in Bio in grade 12

The likely reason it's wattery is that the yolk has less water % than the soft drinks, therefor the water tends to move into the egg. The cracks are probably from osmotic pressure. If I had to take a wild guess I'd say the root beer was less acidic than the others and had more bacterial growth.

12:03 I think you are right that the eggs are swelling, and here's my hypothesis as to why they swelled and looked "watery." Again I'm trying to remember things from science class back in junior high or high school so I might not be remembering this correctly. If you have a water-permeable membrane between two solutions where one solution has more water in it and one solution has less water in it, the water from the side that has a higher concentration of water is going to move to the side with a lesser concentration of water to try and "balance" things out. I looked up the concentration of water in an egg, and it's about 74% water. I'm not sure how reliable the sources are, but some sources online say soda is about 90% water. So, since soda has a higher percentage of water, water moves from the soda, through the membrane, into the egg. The membrane inside the egg swelled causing the shell to crack in some cases. Why the water didn't mix with the albumin (egg white) in the egg? I'm not sure, I'm curious about that one. I'm also curious as to why the soda didn't dissolve the egg shell within the month, since it's so acidic. Keep doing what you're doing, I love these videos! :) Thank you!

You should look up how to increase the concentration of sulfuric acid you buy from a store, most store bought acid is only around 30% which is barely enough to do anything compared to lab grade acid.
