It being wet inside also shows my biggest concern about this device - how do you clean it? It's going to get food on it - both on the "lid" portion of it, and on the "feed" portion of it. Cleaning it is likely going to result in water on the inside and water and electricity is a bad mix.

if i remember correctly, this thing had a spring in the box that you did not put in since it was not in the instructions, and i am thinking it needs it to work, but it seems to be a badly made product. my guess is the spring helps it somehow and may need to be hammered thus the weird name unless it is called that just because of its shape.

ok, to be fair, almonds are very tough and many blenders and food processors with less power (than say KitchenAid) say in the instructions that you should not blend/cut nuts like almonds.
@geneard639 Жыл бұрын
@4:03, its not the battery thats dying, the motor has a set amount of time it can operate before it overheats and the bearings seize. That is what is happening, the motor is to hot, the bearings seize, the unit stops, after a bit it cools, the bearings loosen up and it operates. Its a cheap gimmick, not meant for real work.

I wonder if the motor would spin faster or more efficiently if it was wired properly? I know sometimes brushed motors can have “timing” and when ran in reverse could cause more friction between the brushes and commutator. I don’t think it’s likely but it would be cool to see.
@111smd2 жыл бұрын
electric motors need to be wired in a specific way(unless stated in the motor spec.) the fact it has a Plus on one leg it need to be with the motor wired correctly and the blades put back it should work way better and last longer(battery wise) also the blades on a food processor do not need to be too sharp as speed is the main cutting force in them if you want to sharpen the blades just use the sharpener that you pull the blade through with 2 honing bars inside edit: as soon as you puled out the hammer all i could thing was "there are 4 screws"

The blades were the correct way. The unit is spinning the wrong way. We can tell because in normal operation it should be spinning in a way that tightens the screw on the shaft. If it runs in reverse overtime it could unscrew itself.
