Good morning Tony, I'm a bit late this week but we've been in Surrey with the grandchildren and it's been quite busy. Not just the fact the granddaughter decided to wake us every morning at 7 o'clock and promptly climbed it bed with us until she got us up,😂😂. Very much enjoyed seeing all the furniture being built, people are correct in saying you have patience which you do by the bucket load, but its this detail that brings your railway to life, its the characters we see that have developed over the years, they put so much into the the railway, this is what gives us a moment in time. I'm sure for you it's memories of a childhood, but for me it's pure nostalgia. My memories of steam was travelling from Clacton-on-sea to London and then onwards to catch the boat train at either Heysham or Stranraer over to Ireland to visit family. Anyway as usual you've set me off on a path of my own memories, and when I think back a happy childhood. Take care both, love to Laura Eddy Anne and my ever demanding grandchildren. Xxx

Nice video Tony. I like how you make all the interior details yourself! it's very easy to buy something off the shelf and put it in the building but the fact you make them all from scratch just shows the craftsmanship and effort you put into making the buildings.

I have to admire your attention to the interior details. Aside from the occasional open door and big window, I don't tend to bother as I don't light my buildings. It's more down to my electrical skills than anything else. I followed your platform measuring technique and have ended up with a perfect double curved platform on my layout. Cheers Tony. Carry on the good work.

Hi Davie, that is brilliant news that your platforms have ended in a perfect construction. and that you are pleased with your efforts. it is also satisfying that i get feedback from people like yourself that have had their own successes with making things for their layout. many thanks any happy modelling my friend. cheer's for now Tony.

There's no holding you back Tony, another inspiring video many thanks for sharing it. How easy (or hard) is it to make a coffee machine and fridge in 00 gauge as it has been said that my office interior is great just needs coffee or tea making facilities to make it look even better. Cheers for now Barry.👍☕🫖

Great video Tony. I’m glad you showed us how to make the chair again. I had forgotten that. Fabulous details in those rooms now. I’m taking my wife away for a couple of days later this week and we’re going to Exbury gardens having seen your video. She also wanted to go to Bucklers Hard so we’re having a night away in Southampton. Just for a little treat. Look forward to seeing your next update. Roy.

Another great video from the master detailer, Tony. I did my interior builds a little differently. First I install 2 joining exterior walls. Second, detail interior sides of outer walls. Third, place in all my furniture and other bits and bobs. Fourth, install all interior walls. Fifth, detail the interior sides of last two exterior walls. Sixth, install a removable roof. So that one can see the interior. My method was probably more chancy and iffy then yours. But it worked for me. Still love the way you do your builds. You have 10 times the skill I had 50 years ago. Our best to you and Laura. Bill and Janet from California.

@TONYNORTHEASTERN Ай бұрын
Hello Bill & Janet. interesting way that you have done your interiors, but the end result end up same. in some cases it is worth having a lift of roof for access to repairs. the thing is i am still learning new ways of putting things together. thank you for commenting and have a great weekend. cheer's Tony Laura. 👍👍👍👍👍

Well Tony, excellent again and that’s another video to save for future reference! You have a basket full of build ideas and techniques in episode 15 & 16. Do like the refreshment layout, hope you get a free cake and tea for your efforts! Just occurred to me internal detail like this just works in OO and certainly with some of yours you have extra large windows e.g. SSS to enhance viewing. I just can’t see it working anything like this in TT120 as window areas become so small and a significant limiting factor. All the best Stephen
@TONYNORTHEASTERN
@TONYNORTHEASTERN Ай бұрын
Good morning Stephen. Thank you for commenting. very true TT120 is a in-between scale from OO -N gauge. the big advantage with TT120 is the amount of scenery detail you can have which would make the layout a lot bigger than oo Gauge. plus lots more buildings. well its a bit late for me to start a layout in TT120. but you never know. stay safe my friend. cheer's Tony.

Once again, great work. At long last I've decided to use the Metcalfe mainline station for my second station but I'll change it (kit bash it I suppose) for my own purposes and include interiors and features like yours. Especially appealing are the water fountains like those you've included. I'm also going to include lighting - something I've never done before. Who knows, it might work without me setting the house on fire! Thanks again.

Good morning Alfie, Good Choice of building i have seen how people can adapt that building to make their own. i do wish you well with the build. my only advice is make sure the leds you have the resister's with them. The long leg is the live. if do this then you should have no issues. enjoy the build. all the very best Tony.

Would the lockers be big enough for Mr Staples, the Chief Clerk to keep his duffel coat in? Hopefully the Vicker will be able to keep his goats somewhere in the vicinity. It is probably best not to upset him about such personal matters? I am inclined to think old Mrs Crab Apple will be helping out with the dusting in the office and Mrs Winkles will be a clicker clacking in her white stillerod making her way to the station office every morning. A brilliant modelling session Toney, and easily explained. Toodley Pip, The Librarian.
