Tyne Tees Historic Commercial Vehicle Run June 2018 - Part 2. This historic commercial vehicle run goes from Stockton to Bents Park in South Shields where the vehicles are then displayed and judged. This is part 1of them arriving at Bents Park. All sorts of vehicles take part in the run including trucks, buses, recovery vehicles, land rovers, emergency service vehicles, transporters and even a few cars that qualify. Its a good day but needs promoted more and maybe a car and bike club should attend to get more in bit like the seaburn one it needs a revamp

We enjoyed it as well Lee. You do get a few cars there but they don't actively encourage them, we took our Moggie a few years ago. I'm sure I heard over than tannoy that about a 5th of the vehicles were first timers this year.

The Transport Lens yeah there was 25 new entrys and 2 that joined on the day im part of the 140 preservation group the daimler from s,shields we won our category for 6th year in row used to be loads of buses from all over country just a couple turn out now its a shame really they should make it like preston park that gets packed

Yeah, it's a shame that more buses aren't going as we obviously like the buses as well. I guess it's swings and roundabouts as I'm sure there were more trucks. I suppose it also depends what other events are happening on the day/weekend as well.
