I also just received my Tynee Mini2 and it's absolutely fantastic. It carves so well that I sold my PintX the next day. I just don't see a place for the PintX after riding the Mini2. Maybe if I lived near dirt trails, but for street carving the Mini2 is lit

Yea the mini 2 is a great board and fast, ive had it up to 43-44kph it flys and is still stable. The Pint X is fun, but heavy and id always worry about a nose dive (ive owned 1 XR and 2 pints all 3 threw me off at low speed, under 20kph

@@81griffin Nothing fancy, finally decided it was time to switch them out often 1200+ miles. I swapped the stock Backfire Zealot S bearings for the Bones Super Reds. Made a huge difference those. No more vibrations and a bit quieter as well.

I've the mini 1 313wh Im blown away how good it is. I've scratched the kick up pretty bad and ordered rear puck. also cut a few mm off the grip tape all round and much better. no rattle yet but terrible paths and roads where I live so bigger wheels in the future and I'll look at bearings then. 👌

I’m ADORING my Tynee Ultra. I went from the Boosted Mini X of three years to the Ultra and let me tell you, a WORLD of difference. ESPECIALLY with the 105mm Cloud Wheels, good LORD what a smooth ride.

Hi mate, hmmm honestly, No. With mini boards, if you can use the tail and shift your weight back more its fine. CW are ok, but the payoff is less range and less torque.

@@mikestain5963 Don't know yet..hasn't arrived. Still a month or more away as I selected sea freight. I was influenced by the fact I have long board with belts and my intention was to get something different. From what I've gather (I'm fairly new to esk8) top speed on belts v hub on most boards should be comparable but the pace it which you get this is the difference. Someone else chime in if this is bad advice? FYI I also went with the cloud wheels, and the larger battery option. My intention was this would be a great commuter board for the times I need to go into the office, and something fun the kids can ride with me without being so daunting.

Personally I say Yes belt has a little more torque, but for me the biggest benefit is you can put any wheels you want , with hubs your linked to donuts sleeves from cloudwheels

Yes mate I have the mini x great little board, for smoothness, range and noise, i prefer the Tynee, The Boosted is just too loud, the deck feels almost the same

For speed and range the Ultra For look and “curb Appel” the Flex is finished really nice. Personally I find the ultra has more kick and a little flatter deck for a lot more comfortable. Cheers Scott

I personally hate Cloud wheels on a mini, its like putting a rear spolier on a Hyundai i30, "stupid" The issue is wheel bite, Now if you buy the mini 2 with the cloudwheel option they actually put a larger riser in to accommodate the bigger wheel. Personally though, it will change the dynamic of the board.

thanks for another great video scott. however I do have a question, I just recieved my hurricane it said it was fully charged so I took it out for a quick ride and it worked well. but then after a couple hundred metres of riding it just stopped and the remount disconnected and the board hasn't turned on since even when I tryed plugging it in. Im not sure if there is some easy fix and im just stupid or if there is an actual problem.

how are the breaks compared to the mini 1, or the meepo mini 2? i have the tynee mini 1, and its breaks are way too weak.... takes ages to stop and i had gotten in so many dangerous situations.. was curious to hear your thoughts in comparison! thanks

They are a little stronger, maybe 20-30% The 9028 has better brakes. The 90mm feel good I would guess if you had cloudwheels they may feel a little soft.

Bearings are a nice simple upgrade, some. Good bushings and pivot cups make a world of difference as well, But leave it standard now, it will feel fine and later on. Upgrade some parts

For 105s you’ll need an extra riser pad, and most likely need to remove the belt covers. To be honest I take all mine off anyway as they do more damage that good.

@@bene4128 Most short board designs use dated hub motors (which you can't change the bearings on...) that only fit the larger 120mm Cloudwheel Donuts, nice price for the 7ah package. Less of a headache compared to removing hub motor wheel sleeves with a metal core. (Verreal F1, Vestar, etc)

Naturaly humans walking in dark no street lights will prefare a torchlight and not red light at back. For some of us living in areas with no street lights or riding in surbubs and come across a street without street lights TYNEE please put a front bright light we can switch on from the remote.
