Heute vor elf Jahren starb TYPE 0 NEGATIVE-Sänger/Bassist Pete Steele. Zu seinem Todestag haben wir ein Video-Interview von 2007 aus unserem Archiv für euch veröffentlicht.
Ursprünglich erschien das TYPE 0 NEGATIVE-Interview auf der Rock-Hard-"Rock Guerilla.tv"-DVD Vol. 6. Drummer Johnny Kelly und Pete Steele plauderten damals mit uns in Dortmund über das Album "Dead Again" und ihre Live-Shows. Zudem sprach Pete über seine manchmal doch recht hartnäckigen weiblichen Fans, die ihm im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes oft den Schlaf raubten. Aber schaut euch den Clip einfach selbst an.

Peter is so interesting and so knowledgeable , that’s another thing that makes him more attractive and one of a kind type of man. I didn’t even know there’s asteroid and I just looked it up and it’s really true 🙀 Crazy it’s on April 13 😳 So far off and on past couple years since discovering T.O.N, I’ve watched few of his interviews. He says some of most interesting things, things that more people should know about. I wish he was still alive damn it. He would’ve made an awesome professor or president 💯😊💚🖤

It's not going to hit anything. It's supposed to come within 20,000 miles of Earth, which, in space is a ridiculously close call, so back in 2007, there was still a degree of unpridictability in the computer models, so there was cause for concern back then. As of now, the calculations have 17 more years of tracking, observation, and calculation. Astronomers are now certain it will not hit us. I'm pretty sure the moon claim was just Peter fucking around as usual, because the asteroid will be nowhere near the moon.

@@dertotti83 Well I think he was right for his own experience, but in general I'm pro-abortion so I don't think he's absolutely right. Btw I expressed myself in a wrong way, obv I'd never hate anyone for a different point of view, but Peter's opinions on important issues sometimes were not politically correct because he often stated them based on his own experience (such as this specific case), and that's why people tend to accuse him of being a person he probably wasn't.

@@veronicar9619 I always wonder how one can explicitly be „pro abortion“ . I think there a cases where it’s an option, sure. But to make a personal or political statement out of it feels very wrong for me. It’s a very sad thing when it has to happen. But I don’t want to make this a long discussion about abortion... :) I hope you have a nice day!

@@dertotti83 Well, I think as a woman, all the women in the world have the right to have a choice at least, though it can be a "sad" choice. Maybe I'll never need abortion in all my life (I hope so and I'll do whatever it takes to avoid it), but I want to live in a world where I know I can abort in a safe way if in need, very simple. @@veronicar9619 Sure. It’s important for women to have a place to go if they have to. It’s just that I‘ve seen quiet a lot women who more or less see abortion as something like returning clothes they don’t want. Or seeing it as a symbol of modern feminism. With the gift of being able to give birth comes the same amount of responsibility. In the end it’s not just the life of the woman. If you know what I mean.

Good news! Apophis will not hit earth for at least 100 years. Uh… after that? The scientists didn’t say yea or nay, so let’s hope scientists will find a way to take care of it by then. At the rate science is progressing, it is possible.

@RockHardMegazine you have any publications in French of interviews from the "Dead Again" era with Peter? The last interview with Peter from your mag is the issue with Kronos from Venom on the cover. But it was Peter promoting their DVD, not the 2007 album.

Yes, although it is currently believed that it will not hit the Earth nor the Moon . The fact they named the asteroid after the Egyptian god of Chaos is a doomy prospect though.
