Meg, you are my new hero! I have had T1 diabetes for 63 years! Diagnosed at age 2. I've seen it all and like you have had my successes and failures (or shall I call them lessons?) and totally get what you're talking about (confidence and such). I've recently started the OP5 and LOVE it! I barely feel diabetic some days, am sleeping like NEVER before, and am just happier and healthier than ever. Thanks for the fun and approachable way you present information. I've learned from you...an 'old pro' like me! Keep up the great work and stay healthy, as I can tell you will. Take care...

Can you make a video of a day when you are not alone? Sometimes I find it hard to make decisions with other people around me and I'd like to see how you navigate that.

Usually post exercise especially heavy cardio I cut my bolus in half. Your body usually is more insulin sensitive post cardio.

In future videos can you add how many units you gave when you bolus for food….it would be helpful to hear just to get an idea!

I typically do not disclose the bolus amount (only the carb amount) because I don’t want people to compare their ratios to mine! 💛💛💛

Do you treat your lows with the same amount of carbs with the O5?

Hi! I’m sorry that’s happening! What do you mean by the communication keeps stopping? Like the link between dexcom and omnipod?
@dariana3780

@@megtypeone not exactly with the dexcom i think its the pdm and the pod it says communication stopped for 4 hours with the pod and i have to change it

Is it possible that where your pod and dexcom are placed on your body means that when you are in bed your body blocks the communications? I am always sure to keep my pod and dexcom on the same side of my body within a line of sight (or close to it) and not blocked when I am sleeping. I am a side sleeper so I really have to intentional about where I place the dexcom and pod, but once I realized this I stopped having the communication error message.
