maybe notes is the end state of all this lore building up, because notes is very vague about lore, maybe it can be expanded by other works(Isn't that right Tsukihime remake?!), he can better explain everything in the state of the universe of notes and with that expansion more people will know notes, nasu is sleeping on a potential titan of an story

one thing to note about Ether Liners in general is that there were 78 of them. Only 78 Ether Liners and yet they were holding the line against over 100 species of A-Rays of whom the information we have on their power level puts them around the level of nuclear bombs. That's not including the Six Sisters, one of their dying screams tore Australia in two. That means that a single Ether Liner was comparable to an entire species, each member being as strong as a nuclear bomb.

Yeah there were liners then there are ether liners. So maybe regular liners served as regular troops to support the ether liners. Still doesn't change the fact that ether liners were more than likely comparable to superman in jacked up spacemarine armor.

@@griffin5322 The liners were said to be basically as strong as a normal human, with just a bit more efficient digestive system and the ability to not die from the outside world. That's not nuclear bomb level. Although I guess there might have been some more technological advancements to put regular Liners somewhat closer to the power levels of the A-Rays.

@@rednaxela5960 Maybe, but the thing is, if they were glass cannons, they're glass cannons who managed to fight against enemies that had attacks on the level of nuclear bombs and hold out. It seems far more likely that they're incredibly durable as well. Also Ado Edem and presumably the Ether Liners with him managed to survive Type Jupiter's Continent destroying conflagration.

@@abbadon9693 true, though there honestly just isn't enough information about the liners as a whole to properly scale their general power. We can get a sense of their strength, but not really their tactics and stats that aren't strength. Really want Nasu to revisit notes and go in depth with it and see how strong the Knights and the A-rays actually are, compared to something like a servant. I'd assume a knight is around the level of a high tier servant and A-rays are pretty much juiced up humans if 78 can take on 100+ whole races of them which would probably be in the high hundreds for each race. It's the fact that they are described to be the same a human physically, just with resistance to grain and with the ability to make knight arms that makes me think they are glass cannons with similar vulnerability as a human with the knight arms carrying the strength of an EX rank anti unit/army/fortress/country np (anti world in the case of ado edem.) Though we can see that Ado Edem is wearing some sort of armor, and armor in fate actually is useful, and given the time frame of the far future while there were mystic codes that made the wearer resistant to most physical attacks much earlier in time frame, maybe that's what gives them the durability for each to fight off thousands of A-rays

Ado Edem - "I came here to destroy Types and kill normal humans, and we are all out of normal humans." The guy really deserves some expanding just cause he's on the small list of "Beat a Type" (which with the pace FGO is going at we won't see it expanded for how ORT is handled in LB7 for some time yet, which will likely be a shared win anyway) and on the one line list of "Did it more than once", the Slashing of Type Jupiter being animated to help with the explaining of the essential Extinction of base line humanity in the world of Notes for some media would certainly bring him in more fans and any further expansion on him as a person or more details of his life would just be amazing.

If anything he is more like Emiya, he didn't not stand out during the war against the A-Rays because Slash Emperor grows according to the size of the opponent, it wasn't until the arrival of the ultimate ones that he made a name for himself because of compatibility just like how UBW works well against GoB, Slash Emperor counters the Km sized Ultimate Ones. Not only that but the A-rays, Liners and Ether Liners imprisoned him out of fear, later on they released him as a trump card and he still went along and fought the Aristoteles which sounds something that you'd expect out of Emiya or Siegfried rather than Gilgamesh.

no ado edem can most probably not be a grand saber or even a servant for that matter cause mana doesn't exist in the world of notes & therefore throne of heros doesn't exist either humanity went extinct because earth lost all its mana which most earth species used as lifeforce was completely used up and grain replaced it on earth which was foreign to earth life forms and as both alaya & gaia run on mana (because obviously alaya is technically part of gaia that separated from it but as gaia definitely runs on Mana because it is natural to earth so does alaya) once mana becomes completely empty the throne of heros/ devine spirits/ the reverse side of the world would have ceased to exist aswell

In Notes world, Earth is dead and hence why Earth called other planets type to destroy the remaining humans/Rays/Liners. Alaya is no more in notes world because it is the collective conciousness of humanity but humanity has nearly perished and earth wants them dead too.

And given that Nasu made notes so long ago there's a decent chance that they're different. Especially since Black Barrel is made up of True Ether, and yet anybody with Grain in their body cannot use it.

I think Ado Edem is usually downplayed I mean he fought two types and probably more after the story ends I highly doubt he never got targeted or hit by one and he would have to be able to react to types abilities and not instantly die so he should be relative to types in n most categories

Question: Will he be recorded in the throne of heroes or does the throne of heroes no longer exist in this era? Since it's implied that humanity or true humanity no longer exist. The pure humans are all dead, the ones that still exist are the A-rays and ether liners. Their relationship with humans is something like a True Ancestor to a Dead apostle Ancestor.

Wouldn't say it's impossible, because for all intents and purposes, he is a human, just one in the future. Similarly to how the humans as we are are genetically different to humans in the past, humans are still humans. That being said, we need to wait until Nasu gives the final word

in theory the throne should be inaccesible if not completly gone in Note's timeline thanks to Gaia and therefore alaya being dead. however, in practice, it should be impossible to destroy the throne as it exists outside of time (can't argue on this one considering EMIYA is a future Shirou), so there just remains the fact that there is no ALaya around anymore to record this boi into the throne of heroes though there is a good chance that by some fluke of the world (read: probably fgo shenanigans) that the Notes characters, minus that angel-like body type venus ends up with, could possibly make it in. though there is the problem that Ado Edam's slash emperor runs off of grain rather than Mana, so it likely wouldn't work enarly as well as it should to begin with

@@gypsysprite4824 Throne of heroes and its records is something that is controlled by Alaya. The collective conciousness of humanity, that is, Alaya records individuals in the Thrones of heroes. Alaya, the source being dead, cant call forth the heroic spirits. Gaia is dead too so phantasmal species are out of question as well. But throne of heroes exists out of time. So there is a contradiction and hence, we can conclude that these heroic spirits all went to the Reverse side of the world, or the other side of the world just like how the Gods did it by becoming divine spirits and travelling to the Reverse side of the world after Gilgamesh and his people rejected them. Earth maybe dead but the reverse side and outside of the world exists. Heroic spirits originate from the outside of the world after they die. They get recorded to throne that way aswell. So they probably either return to reverse side or the outside of the world.

If World is dead and its last wish was to destroy the remaining humans then I doubt Throne has any power as it is either destroyed or just ended with the heroic spirits being transferred to the Reverse side forcibly. Jeanne took a long time to travel to the Reverse side of the world because she was stuck with the throne. Throne is still alive and well in Apocrypha timeline. Her travelling to the Reverse side of the world means that she somehow broke off from the throne. Ex- Artoria in end of Fate route rests in Avalon and waits for Shirou, Merlin reunites her with Shirou as a reward for her. (Context- Garden of Avalon Drama CD) Hence, I believe there is a way one can break off from the Throne when Alaya is still active. It probably takes a power which the Gods had but Jeanne took time to get it. Nasu never explored this Idea but we can conclude that a heroic spirit separating from the Throne is not impossible.

Protea and him working together could likely kill planets. Given that Slash Emporer drains more out of the planet the larger it is, I think at least. So if Protea were to grow big enough Ado Edem could target her and drain the life out of the planet.

Not exactly, you see in the story of Notes one of the A-Ray species named ‘Angels’ are pretty powerful to the point where they deal damage equivalent to a nuclear bomb just by themselves, Now keep in mind that their are 100 different subspecies of beings like this and the only force that could fight them off were the knights themselves which only consisted of 78, with Ado included, so while he does need his demonic sword for fighting he can always resort to melee and even tanking hits.

Given the technology and abilities we've seen, it wouldn't be a stretch to say he just used slash emperor and was teleported out. So no confirmation about anything aside from attack power, whether it be speed power, durability, what he faced when Type Jupitar exploded, etc We're just given knowledge that he can and has killed a type, but no real knowledge about whether any other ability of his is on par with that attack power.

Definitely Slash Emperor in terms of magnitude, at full power. Crimson Moon Brunestud required just one true magician to beat (Zelretch), but TYPE Pluto required six (Six Sisters). The Six Sisters are the strongest A-Rays in Notes, stronger their protectors (the Angels), each of whom are able to casually output destructive power equal to a nuke. Also you know how the entire sky is red in Notes? That's TYPE Pluto's blood. Now, despite that, if you think each Sister is significantly inferior to Zelretch (highly unlikely), then its safe to say that TYPE Pluto is stronger than TYPE Moon. It's also safe to say that both TYPE Jupiter and TYPE Saturn are on the same level, and TYPE Saturn may actually be superior, since he is the leader of the Aristoteles invading Earth. Slash Emperor was able to one-shot both TYPE Jupiter and TYPE Saturn. In all of the Nasuverse, that may still be the biggest feat of destructive power till date. If AAS is a million Excaliburs, Slash Emperor at full power is probably a million Eas (hyperbolic but you get the idea).

My theory is when A rays and Ether liners are in war Ado Edem slash emperor still has not mature yet and is weak when types arive its finally awaken and show its true power there is a reason why both teams FEARED his potential and power and lock him up because that time he is strong enough to kill both of them if it is not then why would you fear a person who pose no threat to you and is an ultimate counter to your enemy And no ONLY ado edem and Gun God are the only people that is capable of harming a type it is literally been stated that Type jupiter decimate everything on his path killing everyone while while HAVING NO SCRATCH until Ado Edem arive and one shotted him

@@Ultimate0Phantasm Well, Ado Edem's Knight Arm has been stated to be pretty normal against most enemies, but absolutely amazing against Types because they're massive. And the thing is, there could be several things that they feared. Maybe they thought that Ado Edem could do that to them, maybe they feared him dying to something when he was one of their only hopes, but we don't know if they actually feared his capabilities in terms of defeating them. Also, a neat thing to know is that like half of the things that have killed TYPES work off of one of their opponents' statistics. Slash Emporer gets stronger the larger the enemy is. Black Barrel does more damage the more Grain the enemy has, TYPES being almost completely made of Grain, along with its "Inflicts the concept of death and longevity onto immortal opponents." thing. The events of Lostbelt 7. The only TYPES that have been killed otherwise have all been killed by users of True Magic.

Lostbelts are dead ends of history for Humanity. They are actively pruned by Alaya because of it. Notes is different in that it is a completely different world where humanity is dead/ evolved into A-Rays and Liners. Liners could be considered the closest since the A-Rays wanted to kill Old Humans and as such Liners and Ether Liners were made. Regardless, Alaya and Gaia are gone, so is all the mana in the world having been replaced by space dust (Grain) and the species formed from humanity now beginning to successfully fend off all the Ultimate Ones after Ado Edem killes TYPE Jupiter and TYPE Saturn, the supposed leaders of the TYPES invading. So Alaya can't do anything since it's dead alongside humanity and Notes not being connected to the FGO world and since its current path is permanent.
