The thing is, people with deep voices have longer vocal chords, so it's easier for them to train themselves to the extent of their range. He's a naturally skilled singer, but he's also very in touch with his singing. Unique voice.

I used to do volunteer work and some of our services were for Deaf people and one Lady I met Type O was her favorite Band! I thought "she's Deaf how could this be?" She had posters everywhere of them. apparently because the band tunes down so low she could feel the low end! one time while helping her move to a new place she had the stereo Cranked! and Type O was on and her brother said "watch this." and said something to her in Spanish and she went over to the speakers and put her hands on them and proceeded to head bang like a Champion! tears of joy Flowing down her face,i knew TON was Special but i had no Idea,i wanted to one day meet the guys and tell them about their biggest Fan ever. besides myself of course. :)

From age 14-15, Type O Negative was the band that spoke to my soul. Like many, I had a brief goth phase. Back when all I had to worry about was which band shirt to wear that day. Back before I had to deal with adult problems like bills and car payments. I've gotten out of the goth phase, but I'll always think back on those years with nostalgic fondness. Type O was good to me.
