They had several hit singles including Black No. 1, Christian Woman, Love You To Death, Cinnamon Girl, Everything Dies, and September Sun. Before forming Type O Negative, Steele had created the metal group Fallout and the thrash band Carnivore. Steele passed tragically passed away in 2010 - he was only 48 years old.

It's so hard to pick a favorite!! Some of my absolute favorites include "World Coming Down," "Nettie," "Burnt Flowers Fallen," and "Die With Me." These stand out to me because of the rich melodies and wide range of Peter's vocals. But it's too hard to pick a favorite. Oh! Cant forget "Haunted!" 💚🖤💚🖤

@@psychologyofrock 1st item on menu : I Don't Want to Be Me video. Hilarious firstly, and really surprising vocals. Dulcet Gravy are the first two words that came to mind, make of that what you will. I think him acknowledging the wiccan friend is a bridge between the Catholic faith, which stole so much of its symbolism from the Celtic pagan religions when they were in the process of converting the heathens to Christianity, which more often than not was violent. I see it as his peace offering💚 He had a foot in both worlds.

🫶Noah Sebastian/Bad Omens reminds me of Peter and some of Type O Negative's style. The sadness and despair in so many of their songs. Noah may not have the bass in his voice like Peter, but damn, that man can sing. 🤘
