you know bandits one day in my desperate search to reproduce Pete's sounds I contacted P Bento and also a sound engineer from the OR era... they were both very kind... obviously the sound engineer was more technical with lots of photos of him, etc... on the other hand Bento, when I asked him if Pete had a particular ds1 he told me that obviously cab and amp were important but Pete used some Chinese factory ds1s (in fact he often lost them) and that was all on his hand

@@circleminus I would love it but unfortunately I think I lost them with the PC changes... if I find them on my external harddisk I will definitely post them as I will post my rig

He was using other preamp and pedal combinations before the DS1 tho. He had an Aria APE 2 for example.

@@lucaserojas Do you have proof of this? We did find a strange looking Ape2 type of pedal (video documented) but it cant be verified as an Ape2.

@@circleminus there is live footage from 1994, it is most likely an APE 2 since it had distortion, chorus and digital delay. He was briefly using ADA MP1 Midi preamps, he was probably triggering the effects from it, although he could have been using both a midi rig and pedals connected into it.
