bankai is the final form of your element/shikai, your element is something you can get when you reach grade 2 and defeat your boss by meditating. after you defeat the boss, you can use 3 skills from the element you have. after that, when you reach elite grade, you can do some quests to unlock bankai, which will give you a transformation and 2 new element moves
