It could have came through the zip as that area is not sealed completely so rain can get through.

Do the mounting screws pierce the bag at all? Or are the only openings the roll-top and side zip? You mention that a mudguard might have helped... what do you think is the water entry point/s?

They do pierce the bag and I'm assuming that's where the water came in; from underneath. Hence the mudguards might help. In a normal downpour I have had no water come in at all!

Wonder how it would have faired if that big plastic thing was not strapped on top of the bag

Kajsa please tell us about your bike! I have been really enjoying your videos and your micro adventure video was fab. I saw your twitter feed about the problems of fitting bikepacking bags to small frames and I thought "yes, at last someone who says it how it is for petite riders". As a short rider of 158cm I have wanted to get into bikepacking but the bikes I look at are too big - your bike, however, looks just right.

Oh, it's a dream! It's a Kinesis Tripster ATR and it's ruddy awesome! Perhaps I should do an episode on it, though I'm not sure I would do it justice!

Very nice review ! One question to the profi girls, could you imagine that I could install a drink system in the aeropack ? I would like to replace my backpack by the aeropack. Greetings from Vienna 💋 Karl

Not sure you could run a straw from the pack to be honest, but might be worth contacting Tailfin about it, they're very helpful and responsive!
