I have this same laptop and been using it for a month, performance is great, temperatures are great too, I'm getting around 75deg max in any games and I get the best temperatures in quiet/eco mode.

The biggest issue I have found with Acer laptops in recent years is the meh keyboards and the touchpads. I have this laptop from 2022 which has the Ryzen 7 6800H and the 3070 ti, NVME and 32GB of DDR5. The quality of the screen is awesome and it is reasonably fast, but it is getting long in the tooth as APU's are getting better and better and ADA LL GPU's are SO much better with power usage.

Hmmm? Are you using the charger that came with it? Because unless you set the laptop to stay at 80 percent or under when charging it means your charger isn't giving the laptop enough power. Or something is wrong with the charging port or battery.

I have the same PC, and it’s because the computer needs more power than what the charger can provide, so it uses both the charger and the battery. It seems that’s how gaming notebooks are built these days. Still, it’s not that bad; I can have a full gaming session without dropping below 60% battery. Anyway, the battery only drops if you're using like 90-100% of the power. If you lower the load, the battery doesn't go down.
