4 kW chakki (flour mill) ke liye proper earthing system lagana bohot zaroori hai, taki electrical safety ensure ho aur kisi bhi tarah ka short circuit ya electrical shock ka khatra na ho. Earthing system ko design karte waqt kuch important factors ko dhyan mein rakhna chahiye: 1. Earthing Type: Pipe Earthing: Yeh method zyada common hai aur isme galvanized iron (GI) pipe ka use hota hai. Pipe ko zameen ke andar vertically install kiya jata hai. Plate Earthing: Is method mein galvanized iron ya copper plate ka use kiya jata hai, jo zameen ke andar horizontal position mein fit hoti hai. Rod Earthing: Isme copper ya GI rod ko zameen ke andar drive kiya jata hai. 2. Material: Copper Plate/Rod Earthing: Zyada effective hota hai lekin thoda mehenga bhi hota hai. Copper ki conductive properties best hoti hain. GI (Galvanized Iron) Plate ya Pipe Earthing: Thoda sasta aur easily available option hai. 3. Earthing Resistance: Electrical earthing ka resistance ideally 1 to 5 ohms ke beech hona chahiye. Lower resistance best hoti hai, especially heavy machinery ke liye. Flour mill (chakki) jaisi machines ke liye less than 1 ohm resistance recommend kiya jata hai, kyunki yeh heavy load pe kaam karti hai. 4. Copper/GI Plate Size: Agar plate earthing ka plan hai, to copper ya GI plate ka size minimum 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm hona chahiye (copper plate ke liye). GI plate ka size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm hona chahiye. 5. Pipe Size (Agar Pipe Earthing Lagani Hai): Agar pipe earthing install karni hai, to 40 mm diameter aur 2.5 meters length ka GI pipe use kiya ja sakta hai. 6. Earth Wire Size: 4 kW ke load ke liye, aapko minimum 8 SWG (Standard Wire Gauge) ki GI ya copper wire use karni chahiye earthing connection ke liye. 7. Earthing Pit Depth: Earthing pit ki depth typically 2.5 to 3 meters hoti hai. Zameen ke moisture level aur soil resistivity ke hisaab se depth thoda zyada bhi ho sakta hai. 8. Quantity of Earthing Pits: Ek chakki (4 kW load) ke liye ek achhi earthing system lagane ke liye ek ya do earthing pits kaafi hote hain. Lekin agar soil resistivity zyada ho, to aapko multiple earthing pits parallel mein install karni pad sakti hain. Approximate Cost: Copper earthing system thoda costly hota hai aur iski cost approximately ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 ho sakti hai. GI earthing system sasta hota hai, jiska cost approximately ₹3,000 to ₹7,000 tak ho sakta hai, depending on the material aur installation cost. Aapke 4 kW chakki ke liye GI earthing kaafi effective aur cost-effective option ho sakta hai, lekin agar aap maximum safety aur performance chahte hain to copper earthing ko consider kar sakte hain.

For a two-storey building, pipe earthing or chemical earthing is generally the best choice. If the soil is dry or rocky, chemical earthing is preferable because it provides consistent performance with minimal maintenance.
