I think my crush Jonah might be a badger. Because he really only ever says stuff like that to me. Like, for example, a couple days ago he was chatting with one of his friends while collecting tests from students' desks, and when I walked past him to hand in my answer sheet to the teacher, he snatched my test from my hand and said something like "Give me that fucking paper." Then, after I sort of froze up in shock, he apologized and nervously laughed it off before going back to talking to his friend. He has made me cry before in previous grades (I'm a freshman) and usually only stopped after a teacher scolded him. This year, the first time he brought me to tears, he brought down the instigating A TON and started being generally a bit more polite. I usually don't care at all what other people think of me, and I first realized I actually liked him, because he was the only one whose criticisms actually made me feel bad, meaning I care what he thinks. I notice him making eye contact sometimes, and earlier in the year when we were assigned to the same table, he was really nice to me. Either he's just a jerk and I'm just desperate, or my crush is a badger. I hope it's the latter, haha.

ugh I have DEFINITELY ran into a Jealous Jared or two. there's this guy I have known since the 2nd grade (I'm in 10th now) and for about a year in 8-9th grade whenever he would see me talking to another guy he would walk up to us and stand extremely close behind me, and would make it look like he had his arm around me (i had no idea in the beginning) and literally would insult and make fun of the boy, taunting him about how the boy sucked at flirting with me until this boy just walked away. I was definitely taken aback by this when it first happened because as far as I knew, he just saw me as his little sister's friend. I honestly wondered for a while if he did it because he hated me and didn't want me to have any guy friends. (he was also fully aware of how boy-crazy I was at the time) because he did this at almost every social event though, I have made a lot of great girl friends (which he flirted relentlessly with only in front of me) after a while people started telling me that he had feelings for me. which was super strange, BC that was SOO not an option in my world, his sister had told me she didnt want us together when we were like 11 and I was sticking to that. and although I found him extremely attractive every time someone suggested me and him I made a face (like EW) so that no one would know I liked him because mine and his sisters friendship was too important (looking back I regret that BC she's not even a very good friend to me) but back on track, he never actually talked to me during that time period. our only form of communication or interaction was him making fun of guys. that's it. now we are kind of ish friends BC idek how rly but if he had ever just manned up, looked me in the eye and was like "yo, i like you. be my girlfriend and dont talk to other boys" i would have been down BC I am loyal as heck and he wouldn't have had to spend so much time and energy chasing off the other boys. but its cool bc I threw those feelings in the trash and dont need a man if he gonna be screwy. there are plenty of other options but boys learn from this just man up and tell a girl once. (don't constantly do it unless she straight up tells you she likes you back tho, BC otherwise you will make her uncomfortable)

I actually replied to your comment because I'm doing the exact same thing with a girl I love: we've been hanging out all alone twice but I can't tell if she's interested or not, and I don't know if she sees me as a friend or not, because we don't text that much (I mostly don't send anything because I feel like I'm bothering her)... And I tell you that because I'm really interested in her, so I might take the bet that he's interested in you the same way I am with her. Also boys are usually WAY easier than girls, they might say yes to a lot of different girls in general.

+Klymahnn thanks for the reply, and yes, I think if we as females think guys are complicated... You can bet that guys think that we're 10X as complicated as well. My best advice for your situation is that I can bet she is interested, or else she wouldn't have hanged out with you altogether.. If she wasn't interested she would've made an excuse, or had a friend tag along with her. But that's not the case. She actually did hang out with you alone, I don't think it can get anymore obvious than that. She's probably just waiting for you to make the first move by telling her that you're into her. ( like I'm waiting for him to say something, before I throw myself out there altogether). So yea, that's my best advice for you now. And I agree that guys are sometimes easier to an extent, depending on the guy (whether shy or not), but idk if this is how he usually hangs out with friends, if on a one on one thing, would that even be considered something a guy would do?thanks again for the reply!

When I look at him, he'll sometimes turn away, or continue looking for a few seconds. 8. He is really goofy around his friends when near me, and sometimes glances over at me. 9. He steals some of my stuff. For example, he stole my dice rubber and began colouring it in. ( Apparently they can do this to get your attention ) 10. He writes 'hi' and smiley faces in the corner of my science book. 11. We have 3 science rooms we're in. When we're in the one where we have to sit next to each other, he ignores me and talks to other people. If I move next to my friend, he stops. In the other classes he sits across from me. Recently he's moved seats and now sits on his own, not talking to girls. 12. He's always running a hand through his hair when he sees me. 13. He teases me playfully and always tries to make me laugh. He also always smiles/grins. For example, he could just be randomly talking to his friend and then suddenly turn to me and just give one of those really wide smiles. 14. He says my name A LOT whenever he sees me. 15. He always shows off. I don't know if it's generally him or if he likes me, but whenever I'm next to him in Science he does it more often, and then in other science classes when he isn't sitting next to me, he tends to be more quiet. 16. He talks to me on social media. Sometimes he doesn't reply. Yet, when he does reply, he seems really into it and the conversation just flows. Like man, we had a conversation about horror movies and it was just so easy. 17. He's ALWAYS asking me questions, it can be about something, or even just randomly. 18. I remember one time we had to relocate a science class because of a state test and he sat behind me, on his own. I think it was to look at me but I can't be sure. And then when his friend asked him to sit next to her, he did, but rather than sitting on the far end of that table near her, he sat on the other far end, literally right in front of me. 19. The only reason I have doubts is that he had an argument with my friend on Instagram because he demanded her to like his pictures. He then blocked her, AND ME. Yet I've never had an argument with him, and I wasn't even involved. I don't know if it's just him or if it could be a way to get me thinking he doesn't like me, aka, to throw me off the track a bit. ~ Opinions on whether or not this guy like-like's me would be great. What if there's a guy whos always staring at me across the classroom, but hes always off at break and lunch playing football and he never initiates coversation with me when we sit near each other, its always in a group conversation.
