Just start putting some distance between you guys to start, so when you do break up with them it isn't as much of a surprise. I don't mean be rude, or ignore them, but maybe start hanging out with more with your friends then them, and don't text them all the time. When you do break up with them, don't do it in front of everyone, and don't do it over text. Just say that your not sure if staying in the relationship is best for you right now, blah blah blah. Also make sure they think they have some say in the matter, eve if they don't lol. It will be less harsh if it's an agreement to break up, as apposite to you dumping them. I hope this isn't too late.

I went on a retreat with my youth group and my crush was there and one of my friends said she shipped us and it was in front of him and later that weekend he asked me out but I didn't actually understand what he said cuz we were like around the campfire and he was being really quiet. so later that weekend like right before I left to go home he gave me his number on a little piece of paper saying"that would be my number." it was so cute. later with texting I figured out that he had asked me out and sadly I'm not allowed to date until I'm sixteen so have to friendzone him until then. I'm only 14. I will be 15 in 4 months so I've got a year and 4 months before I can date him. but he really likes me and it's so hard to friendzone him but my parents don't let me date yet so. we've actually held hands before but then my mom saw us and so...yeah. having to friendzone him stinks. that weekend i had hung out with him the entire time, which made it really obvious. 😀

Omg so I have a crush on this guy, and there was this huge flock of birds outside, (we were at break during an extra curricular) so I was standing outside, looking up at them. I thought it was really cool, so I shouted to the people inside, “hey guys come look at this!” And only one person came to look. They started telling me about how it was a town tradition to come look at the birds at night. They seemed to know a lot about the birds, and I was impressed! They told me when the festival was happening and said I should go with them. Then someone inside called them and then as they started to walk away, I realized that since I was looking up at the birds, I hadn’t seen who I was talking to, so I looked down and it was my crush! I started freaking out when I realized that I just had a completely comfortable and nice conversation with him!
