Framing hammer is basically a claw hammer, doesn't really need it's own category. There are several types of hatchet hammers with specific uses including drywall hatchet, shingle hatchet for asphalt shingles, shake hatchet for cedar shingles, as well as general purpose types. In addition to ball peen hammers there are cross peen, straight peen, and diagonal peen hammers. Didn't even mention body hammers as used to straighten and shape sheet metal, both in steel head and plastic head.

Which one is the best for welding

A slag hammer for SMAW, MIG pliers for GMAW, or soft-face hammer for GTAW.

Any hammer you're accurate with. Welding, at least forge welding, is about heat and pressure, so heat the metal until it's evenly as hot as it can go, then beat it together.
