The "human Guinea Pig" Medic. always there to lend an Arm to be cannulated, always there to act as a casualty with training. the medic that when they get an injury asks for every newbie to come in and watch him get treatment or asks for a volunteer "Hey guys I just got a laceration on my forearm while moving some trunks!, you there... go get the suturing kit, everybody gather round.." and starts making it into a full on lesson. The seniors know there must be something "masochistic" about this guy, but they don't stop him because it's "good training" :)

He is super intimidated by, and still considers himself better than, the new medic who was an EMT for 5yrs before enlisting and has actually treated gunshot wounds, amputations, burn victims, fought a few junkies, pulled bodies from car wrecks, been shot at, and maybe even delivered a baby for stork points.

Fon't know why but TDY's and deployments seem to be the weirdest times for my health, first ever TDY I got a nasty cough, fuckin Doc came to my hotel room without me expecting it with his bag of miracles and took care of me, first deployment my roommate was the squadron Idependent Duty Medical Technician, first got there and was having a hard time sleeping due to my shift and the time zone change, came back from work one day and there was a prescrition of melatonin for me. Sec9nd deploymemt in 2019 pretty sure I got Covid but it was before anyone knew what the symptoms were doc came through with the really good cold medicine so I could sleep and wasn't keeping everyone else in the trailer up with my coughing. When I was woken up for a commander's call and passed out due to heat and dehydration doc was there. Thanks Doc.
