Anyone remember Cyclone on the speccy? Probably one of the first open world type games ever made. That game blew my tiny little mind when I played it as a kid.

Oh yes, I remember Cyclone very fondly, recently made a video about it too. There was just this amazing atmosphere in the game. Was fascinating flying around exploring the world and that cyclone was a actually a bit scary 😁

Interesting little shooter. Look at those beautiful speccy colors! 😃

Good looking game; Though doesn't look super fun, but I am definitely impressed by its implementation.

It's ambitious for sure and as long as you don't have to suffer the loading of the 48K version, it's pretty decent. If not, as you say, super fun! 😁

Loved the title music on this but that was about it. Flying Shark & Xenon about as good as these type of games got on the Speccy.

Yeah, prefer Terra Cresta myself.

... This ZX port seems to be really good:) (128 ko? more memory and a sound chip, yes, that’s true;) ); but the graphics are good, the scrolling really convincing (even if I did not understand everything about the weaponry ^^) ...and not even color clash! ;D

Yupp, this is the 128K disk version. Seems like what power up you get is determined by when you pick it up, pretty odd 😁, even if it’s not unheard of…

@@gearsofgames (a 128k disk version... so, for the "famous" Spectrum +3 ? woaw ! )

A frustrating mutli load, no continues so it's back to the easy and short level one every time.

Oh man, that sucks! Only played the 128K version, thankfully!
