Great value. The isometric car level looked pretty sweet for a budget game and that was only 1 of the mini games!

Agent X-2 on the Amstrad CPC was one of my favourite games on the system! also multiple different games, starting with a side scrolling shoot'm'up, then there's also a breakout clone and some weird platform bit which i didn't really understand. I think the first Agent X was a Spectrum exclusive?

@DirkDierickx I believe so, no other versions that I could see. I was going to have a look at Agent X-2 at first, but this one looked more fun. The breakout level seemed like an absolute pain in the butt! 😁

The “XXXX” but in the review isn’t meant to be a bleeped out word but was a reference to a beer advert at the time, which had the slogan of “Australians wouldn’t give a castlemaine four x for anything else”.

Agent X... the game that taught my Rubber-Speccy to fart with rhythm. Because that's what it sounded like to me, before I hooked it up to a small amp with some speakers. - Well actually, my initial reaction was to quickly unplug the power. Because it sounded to me like it was trying to commit harakiri.

Limited fun for a limited price... on 1986 it was fair enough.

Yes, 2 Pounds, it’s not very... heavy:D I find nice and 'courageous" these games with multiple "gameplays", and go far without cheating (and see his character approaching his "end"? ) had to ask for skill... and patience:)

It's really cheap, you do get a lot of game for those two quids!

Speccy veteran here. The game is very weak. The technical, graphic side of these games is very decent but the gameplay is weak. Actually nobody even played it because of the game. We only listened to Follin's music. 5 channel 1 bit audio, where the CPU controls the beeper and spends almost all its power on it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXnTk4ynlqx3jKs .. remix .. enjoy.
