Just got back to Texas from Tamuning visiting my daughter. Had a great 4 days before Mawar. The storm sat on us for so long, creating so much damage & flooding. Enjoyed helping others clean up over the past week but the nights were so hot without air conditioning. Hard to sleep. I have so many great pictures at landmarks before the storm at The Guam Letters & Oka Point for example and then we went back to take photos After the storm. It’s devastating. Living without power&water and minimal groceries is wearing people out. Hoping the power is restored soon & rebuilding goes well. God Bless Guam.

Oh my gosh I'm glad you got to see the island before the storm! I'm sure your daughter was grateful to have you with her for that and the aftermath as well. I know that's not easy being without the basic necessities for so long 😔 I hope everything goes back to normal soon!

Nen, thank you so much for putting this out there. This is Day 8 of no power, water or cell phone service. It is very taxing on a person to have to seek out our basic needs every day from food, a place to shower, water for flushing, etc. I’m trying to stay positive but it’s hard. At the same time, my heart goes out to those who are suffering much more through the loss of their homes. The latest update is that the Red Cross has set up at least 8 sites to distribute items such as cleaning supplies, a cooler, toiletry essentials, etc.

Yes I'm so glad no one got hurt! My friends and family on the island said they were so scared and exhausted by the time it finally passed over them. Thank you for your support!

They are still without power but I know they're working as fast and as hard as they can to get everyone up and running again. I'm sending my heart out to them in these hard times. Thank you so much for the supportive words!

Yes definitely ❤ I know it's such a struggle without the basic utilities. My family shared that they are slowly restoring water to all the homes so hopefully the power isn't far behind!
