Your so called muzzle breaks are actually 3 chokes with a choke key for removing and installing. By the way, did you even install a choke before shooting it? If not you need to see if you screwed up the choke threads on the inside of the barrel. Please lubricate the gun. Shooting it dry right out of the box is not good for it. Nice looking 12 ga.

Never buy 3 inch. Home defense is up close, 2 3/4 will always get it done.

Takes about 200 rounds to be broken in . I run 2 3/4 00 buckshot. Mine runs flawlessly 👌🏾

Yes I see that some shell casing don't work as well. I will get out and shoot this more to break it in.

I've had my X12 for almost 2 years now and love it!! I've put close to 500 rounds through it and have never had a jam. It eats both high brass and low brass like candy, despite reading some reviews where it has jamming issues with low brass during the break in period. I put the Romeo 5 red dot, which makes it much more fun. Not very practical for home defense, which is why i have a pump by my bed, but great for birds, skeet and just tearing up shit. LOL Not to mention it's a reasonable price. I defintily recommend it for recreation. Not so much for home defense.

Kicks like a mule because of its light weight/shooting a heavy load. 2 3/4 is a fine shell. Combat load is 3 00 buck followed by 2 slug shells.And the large holes in the target were caused by the plastic wadding in the shells.

@@tnoel374 to clarify: load the 2 slugs first then the buckshot loads so firing order is the 3 buckshot with the last 2 rounds being the slugs. Theory is that the "target" will be retreating and the slugs can reach out and touch someone....

I just bought this gun today. Should have it in about 7 - 10 days. It seems that it likes the high brass shells better than the low brass shell from what I've seen. Also higher velocity shells as well. Some videos I saw showed 2-3/4" low velocity , low brass shells jamming on every shot. Anyone see's this , what's been your experience with the F12 and ammo so far?

Hey Tom what you think is muzzle brakes in that box is chokes, most of the times with shotguns they are full choke, then you put those in depending how you want the shot to spread, just giving you a heads up so these guys don't rip you up. Also try to find 12 guage in 25 shells to a box it will work out better in price and I agree with the first commenter on 2 3/4

Stay away from the autos for self defense, don't need a jam when being shot at, great for duck hunting

Yes there is a jamming problem with certain 12 gauge shell casing. I found the right shells for this, and now no jamming.
