I love how the large, heavy slugs basically turn the gel into an amorphous blob in milliseconds! The Gatekeeper was the perfect finale to this compilation as well, what an amazing slug!

Some of the contortions that the gel went through in slow motion were quite beautiful. I think that the nastiest slug was the electrical cable tho. All those little pieces of copper wire that came out the back, imagine what that would do inside a person. Wow!

Just the fact the gel springs back so fast that it causes the trapped air to compress and ignite fumes from projectile/gel friction and oxygen shows just how much energy it takes to expand a cavity in that gel to begin with. Dieseling I believe is the term used to describe the mini explosion 💥. First time I saw it I was blow away!

Yes, bravo to Jeff. I would love to see a strong but minimal steel frame around the blocks to hold them in place to prevent lift off. If this was for example an impact to a human torso, there would be enough mass to hold everything in place. When the blocks are allowed to take flight, some energy is lost. Unsecured blocks are more like arms or legs. I still like seeing them somersault into the air, but it would be sweet to see how the expansion channel would behave with the blocks held in place, maybe we would see some blowouts on the sides.

You all have out done yourselves this time!!!! My favorite one has to be the gatekeeper. I have watched that video several times. The Gatekeeper does not have tremendous amount of penetration but the energy dump is awesome. The gel almost popped from the Gatekeeper. I need this round to deer hunt with. Thank you

Wow, this is great! The music fits perfectly with the graceful flight of mass accelerated objects as they lend their beauty and kinetic energy to the ocean-like waves of the ballistic gel blocks. Good job, man. That's really cool. {Not being facetious here, that is really interesting and artistic even, knowing what the projectile is capable of, and what the gel is representative of, the way they interact is really cool to watch. Love the slo-mo. It really puts into perspective how fast firearm projectiles are. in most cases the projectile is long gone before the target even reacts! THEN you see how much energy is involved.

That was fantastic! You've created an artform in itself of testing weird shotgun rounds in the most photogenic ways possible. There was one shot in there with the telephone poles lined up, and the lighting and 'contrast', along with the speed setting of the camera and music, reminded me of those recent recovered nuke test films, whom I'm a big fan of.
