I just came across your channel today. I've been thinking about the Typhur Sync Gold Dual and your review is the most informative I've seen. Thanks! Will probably go for it. I'm also thinking about the Typhur Dome. Do you think you would ever review that product?

Just got the single probe. Kinda wish I got the dual probe but they're soooo expensive. The single probe by itself is $100!! Regardless, I'm excited to try it out.

I got the woodwind pellet grill because they claimed that I can keep an eye from anywhere using wifi. However it kept dropping sitting next to the wireless router. Typhur meat themoter is what I always wanted! I bought it and tries it out today. It seems to be exactly what I wanted

I have 3 Meaters, 1 Chef IQ, and 1 TempSpike plus. Meaters are most disappointing, constantly losing signals through my grills or from base to my phone. The Meaters are battery hogs too. My Chef IQ is as much as 75 degrees off on ambient temp, but otherwise is my preferred. I am not familiar with Typhur, but my next will be ThermoWorks which uses RF signals for the wireless and an independent wired ambient probe. Did you try the Typhur probe in your grills while testing range? Have you tested accuracy?

Forget the thermoworks and get the typhur. Even their old one blows all of the others out of the water. This new one is an absolute tank in terms of range, temp range, and improved ambient readings.

I tested accuracy by using the two build in probes on my Weber Searwood. They were always within 5 degrees.

I agree. I have two meaters and looking to replace them. I bought the Typhur 2 probe and it has NEVER failed me. So, I'm upgrading to the 4 probe gold model. It's well worth the investment if you want an edge on your cook.
