No not at all. If you’re in the kitchen like the place they make food you stay there the entire shift. You don’t need to talk to customers at all. There will be someone else assigned to do drive way and front cashier. And if you speak Spanish you can also help some other Spanish speakers who have come to order food and don’t speak English really well.

Everyone is usually hella busy to attend to customers face to face so they put a sign up for the customers to use the kiosk instead. But while working there I was in charge of the register but the sign was still up just in case.

I have a question when u work at McDonald's do they like train you to do multiple positions at the store is it like one day they have you taking customers orders at the drive thru than a week later they have you at the front register as a cashier than another week later they have you in the kitchen frying the food in my mind I always felt like that is what McDonald's employees do they get put in different positions through out the month is this true or do u just stay doing one thing the entire them your employed there

When you work at fast food, you do an orientation. That’s basically training on the computer. You watch instructional videos on how to perform certain tasks at your job, once your complete they will schedule you shifts and put you on the floor as a cashier or some starter job position. They monitor you a bit at first, to see if you catch on or still struggling. Then after a while they leave you to it.

I’m so sorry for the late response ☹️🙏🏾 But the answer to your question is a big fat NO😭 They don’t train you at all you just do Orientation cus it’s the rules but during Orientation they don’t train you and whatnot you have to figure out everything by yourself basically.

No not really 😂 We are only allowed to eat specific things like McChicken and cheeseburgers. We are allowed to get any soda we want but for every other thing we would have to pay. The McDonald’s I worked at wasn’t so strict so most times they let it slide when we have some other things on the menu for free. But usually it’s only a select few things we are allowed to have 😂

Fortunately for me I do not work there any longer. That specific environment was just too toxic for me. But not all McDonald’s are like that so you should be good wherever you decide to apply. I think honestly if you go to apply they will accept you cus they’re always looking for better faster workers. You get free food too so that’s a plus (but not every store allows you take just whatever you want. I could only do that in this store cus most of the managers didn’t care much) and make sure to analyze the area before actually deciding to work there. Check how much time it takes for them to respond to a customer, how they speak to them and stuff cus if they don’t treat even their customers right they not gonna treat you right so look out for things like that. The works is mostly easy you’ll pick up quick☺️ So I wish you the best of luck!
