Do you have smoke alarms in your house and if so are they solely battery mounted or hardwired running to the mains to power the indicator lights? A lot of old homes from the 80s have hardwired with NO battery backup and those have RED steady light where as typical hardwired ones have a GREEN steady light and a flashing RED once triggered and it shows the alarm that rang if it's interconnected.
@kylehill3643
@kylehill3643 3 жыл бұрын
Oh and I forgot to mention they now have 10 year SEALED battery ones so even if you live in an area where hardwired smoke alarms are required for your house you can use these instead as they are good for about 10 years before throwing them out which they will beep every 30 seconds in it's end of life stage. You pull a tab out to permanently disable it then chuck it. No more playing the 'Find the batteries and guess which smoke alarm is chirping at 3am and your German Shepard is howling in fright game'.

I have a quick question: Do you have smoke alarms in Norway and if so are they battery powered or hardwired running off of the mains with or without battery backup? Homes from the 80s often have hardwired alarms with NO battery back up which shows as a solid red light where as ones with battery backups have a solid GREEN light or RREDif it was triggered. One way to tell is when unscrewing them wires will come dangling out where as battery ones just mount on or off. Hardwires when one sounds off in alarm mode it makes the others sound in a siren frenzy.
@MrMKE100

Better late than never. Every home has smoke alarms. What solution you use are up to you. Some are wired with batteries. Some are only wired. Some are wireless with batteries. They come in many flavours. You can buy from a security company. Or you can fix it yourself with Google Nests and other brands.

What makes this typical Norwegian? It doesn't have the traditional elements*, nor does it show anything that separates it (from a broader perspective) from Western-European houses. Despite the view into the green. Which is awesome. And typical for Norway. * The house actually has, like the building materials, the size, the color, etc but it's not mentioned in the video

It's strange to understand the real plan of the house, with the "mirror" video. Ex. when you see the house from the front, the kitchen area is on the left side of the house, but when you present it, inside it is on the right side :)

If you make a video about job and related course/degree/diploma related to their fields (designing and development, or a social media marketer) then it will be a pleasure for us because this is the major demand in Pakistan as a freelancer, because we want to grow, but we don't have any source to find the way. It’s not that typical. At least not from the outside. But yes wooden houses is the norm. at least if you live outside the big cities. And it’s more due to personal taste and preference tbh when it comes to styling and interior. Like her kitchen is huge compared to mine, as I live in a tiny apartment in Oslo. Her house is also quite dated... A typical Norwegian house would be maybe more “traditional”. More wood. More classic. Tho many prefers Scandi. Minimalist and Ikea, or cabin fever. Unless you like ultra modern, or industrial. Again down to personal preference as well as where in the country you live due to climate/weather, and local customs.
