I don’t understand the people with the negative comments… I live in upstate NY and many people have build this type of home or even expanded a large shed in order to have a lakeside camp. My husband and his friends have put in bathrooms and small kitchens in a couple of weekends and using Home Depot, off the shelf cabinets and fixtures keeps cost way down (and none of them are carpenters in their day jobs). Under $20-$30,000 and you have a nice little get away spot.

Thank you for the tour of the homes being built for the Dacha's, one thing I noticed is there are no closets for clothes, lines, that's why you are building a cabinet at your dacha, so they build them simple for people to afford and then they fix up, they are cute but no stairs for me, have a great weekend you two, see you again and what you are up to, Wendy

What you call a barbeque house, we call an outdoor kitchen in the US. They are usually built outside on the patio. Do people ever use solar panels on houses there? I have never seen them in any Russian videos.
@genagena38766 ай бұрын
Solar panels are not effective in the Moscow region. Here the weather is more often cloudy, during which energy production capacity drops six times. Very expensive and ineffective.

They are currently building two towers in LA for some homeless people and the price per unit will cost taxpayers $600,000 dollars, total cost $165,000,000 dollars. That's 165 million US dollars. When you are not spending your own money you don't care about the price.

How much was the smaller 6x4m house? Also, taking the 6x6m property as an example, with its $23K cost, how much extra cost would then doing all the electrics, plumbing, etc. typically add to the total? In other words, especially for the novice buyer, is it all too easy to buy what may seem like a good value property, only to then have to spend rather a lot later to add all the elements that are missing? Very interesting about the 50 fifty square meter property tax cutoff. If a place was, say, 60 sq. m, how much would the tax be per year, for where you are in Moscow region? And thus, what would the saving be over the typical duration of owning and using such a place? I wondered to what extent the property tax saving would really influence a final decision, ie. is the saving large or small?
@junglesuperstar92706 ай бұрын
It would not influence that much .

I am curious about the rules of dacha communities in Russia. Can one live in their dacha full time? What I call "my dacha" in the USA is really just a smaller house in a more rural community. I can live in it all the time if I want and have the same liabilities as my regular house. I do have problems with electricity my rural community in the USA. The Russian dacha houses seem to be the same price we pay at Home Depot in the USA. The development costs are very expensive though. It would cost an American at least $150,00 to set up a dacha after all the fees and development costs are considered. I like Russia's fifty square meter rule on taxes. I wish that was true in California :) Both houses you showed remind me of my father in law's house in Japan.

Thanks for showing the country house. I have seen several videos of Americans and Canadiens and also Australians moving to Russia. Do you know of Americans moving in close to where you are? 8:00 Yes, I have seen some other reviews where they just make the house as a shell without plumbing and electric. Then you get that separately as I understand. It is good to know that when pricing homes. 9:30 Some places in America they also do rolling "blackouts" and they will try to do that night hopefully but not always works that way. 10:50 I think the word you are looking for is "foundation" or in this case concrete/brick piling foundation. 12:30 In America, some people are paying lots and lots for "tiny" homes. Because they don't like us building small houses to live in. 15:00 This one is like a yard barn in America. That may be $5000 for a large yard barn like that. Some people do try to get them to live in but they have to be put on their parents' property only.
