this game looks great for its time and the visuals the music fit well and i noticed a lot of religous symbols like the crosses and nails and the sorcerer shooting jewish stars turning you into a duck

You should give Battletoads a try, it's hard but not unfair. But fair warning its probably one of the few games where if you don't have enough skill you will not survive the whole game, especially reflex skills. THe game is battletoads for the NES 1991 the one with the infamous vehicle levels turbo tunnel and volkmire's inferno.

Fufu, I remember this game and have it on the genesis. Drove me nuts too but I finally was able to beat it. Yes, stage 3 here is where it actually starts to spike up in difficulty but if that's a bad one, stage 4 will REALLY drive you insane! It (to my personal case) is the hardest out of the game and perhaps one of the longest parts!

Yes......after hundreds or thousands of deaths/continues. That is something 99% of gamers will never put up with. I can't remember if I beat this game legit or not it was so long ago lol. I know I got further than on this video, (legit) but I remember the last level destroying me. (I started with the Genesis version but have played it on compilations too) I'm not the most patient or skilled gamer so I know there are some that have beaten it. I WOULD like to see many of these youtubers that beat all of the modern games take a crack at some of these old harder games though. The Souls series and the handful of other hard games out there have nothing on the cheapness of these old arcade games and even some NES games.

The daggers are the second best weapon next to special fairy magical weapon available after one game completion... Ghouls 'n Ghosts still tiff AF in 2019...
