What I wanna know is, why isn’t she in uniform? Why is she throwing demands, out of uniform? Why is she ordering other deputies to violate people’s civil rights? Doesn’t that show bad leadership? Why didn’t she identify when we asked? Why did she become so aggravated and aggressive? She was the first one to raise her voice. Why did she escalate the situation? What could she have done differently to handle this encounter better? I’m willing to talk to her. Would you like to see her and I in an interview together?

If Philedelphia police are unable to act lawfully in their own offices what chance is there that they will act lawfully while policing the streets? The Nurenburg Trials at the end of WW2 set a precedent that obeying unlawful orders to commit crimes is no defence for the crimes committed. The Sherriff doesn't know that the foyer of her office is a publicly accessible place and photography is permitted there, giving orders to remove people with cameras acting lawfully is illegal. The Sherriff needs to retire as does the leutenant that followed her orders. Their way leads to tyranny! Their policy is that they must behave with respect to members of the public, she behaved like a spoiled brat demanding exclusive use of the slide in the playground, her deputies must know her behaviour is beyond the pail, is it more than their jobs are worth to complain?

I called there 4 times and got hung up 3x. The 4th time I let them know that they were not in trouble and that we understand this to be a leadership problem at the highest order. I explained the Veterans of America did not waste our time defending the constitution to let low-level bottom feeders like the leadership here to undermine the constitution. I explained that we know retired admirals and generals that will not stand by for this disrespect of the constitution. I assured them help is on the way. FYI: Philly is both a county and a city. As a county, we have an elected sheriff and sheriff's deputies. However, unlike other counties in Penna., our sheriff's office does not do general law enforcement. Our sheriffs do courthouse security and sheriff sales and evictions. Despite this, they do go through the police academy and are considered law enforcement.

SJVT-be aware of PA v Bradley. It’s a PA Court of Appeals case that says it’s perfectly fine for police precincts to violate the 1st Amendment rights of we the people to record in the public lobbies. How that may apply to this building, I’m not sure. But you should be alert to it.
