Crump follows the money and silences the family in the process. Protest tend to take place when the killers or violent perpetrators aren’t arrested or charged.

@@berdellfleming5074 if they speak it out, yes it can… going along with a “slap on the hand” guarantees this will continue to happen… speaking fiercely against low sentences for public servants that violate the public’s trust while getting the maximum benefit of the doubt could carry a lot of weight when sentencing comes in future trials of such manner. Ahmad Aubrey’s family spoke up when the *prosecutor* tried to give his killers a much more cushy incarceration in a Fed facility instead of a state facility…. Those killers got the state facility because his family got in front of cameras and opposed the prosecutor who attempted to make things easier for the killers.

If those officers receive shortened sentences, then nothing was really accomplished and it would not be true justice for the crime that they all committed. These officers deserve nothing less than life in prison with no parole. If it turns out that they will get shortened sentences, then this is not justice and Tyre Nichols family really have no victory in this case ! If I were Nichols family I would not be completely satisfied with the outcome of this trial. What are the final sentences going to be ? This is the question ! Also, what about the white officer and paramedics who did not render immediate aid to Tyre Nichols ?
