Reke got 30 mil a year to go to Miami, was offered 25 mil to stay in KC. The 72 you’re alluding to is the guaranteed money to the full contract. So if Miami gave him 30 mil for three years, that’s a 90 million dollar deal however Miami made 72 mil guaranteed from the overall contract. KC probably offered 25 a year for 4 years, making it a 100 million dollar deal, but probably (& I keep saying probably because I haven’t seen the actual contract KC was offering [just a hypothetical]) offered 50-60 mil guaranteed. well then KC would’ve offered the bigger contract, however less guaranteed money which Tyreke was looking for more (Guaranteed money is ALWAYS! More important than the actual contract itself) players want to know EXACTLY what they’re getting because their Health/Careers aren’t promised.

Funny thing is the season before he left. He got the most targets on the team by far.
@kirkmcknight75952 ай бұрын
I think it was not only the most on the team but more than the previous year and the year before that but also more than any season in his entire career. There was never a game where he was only targeted 2 or 3 times.

In a sense I'm glad Tyreek wnded up in Miami. Could you guys imagine a league where they have Mahomes throwing to Kelce, Hill, Hollywood, Worthy? It's already going to be nuts this season as it stands, adding Hill to that would be borderline diabolical

I think for some players, they start out with wanting to win a championship during their career. But once they realize they won't win a championship or once they do win one, it turns into getting the most money they can, and I dont blame them at all. Gotta get it when the gettins good

It's always about the money. Just hard to say it because "fans" dont understand. Even though they work for money also.

At least he’s honest that it was about the money. Most of us would do the same thing.
