I’m someone who has a bit of a funky jump shot myself. I’ve never been fully comfortable with a “textbook form.” Although, I understand why coaches emphasize it. For me, it really comes down to a matter of understanding the spacing I need to get it off in the right moments. I’m sure it’s the same case for Tyrese. At least he got to the league with his and is showing at a high level that it can be done

What people don't really think is his shooting form is one of the most efficient or the most efficient regarding the effort required to shoot the ball. Barely jumps, barely takes the ball to his chest...just a quick shooting form that requires very little effort. Can play long games through all his career and the form won't be altered for being tired.

🤔It amazes me how the NBA now allows these free-styles of play.. I grew up as a left hander, who shot with two hands.. 12yrs Old I could shoot from one goal to the next. Nearly UNSTOPPABLE. But my form wasn't good enough to play in highschool. Nowadays, everything goes..🤷🏾‍♂️
