Tyrone Spong - amazingly talented, one of the best kickboxers technically and speed wise Jerome Le Banner - great and experienced kickboxer but he's getting old and is out of prime. Yet still JLB won...size and do matter a lot obviously :/ Conclusion: while size and strength may not determine the winner definitely, they DO manner. EVERYTHING manners, even luck manners.

Vous me faites marrer avec vos qualificatifs du genre " bourrins". Le banner est avant tout un guerrier qui a tout compris de la notion de Bushido. C'est pour ça qu'il est tant apprecié au Japon. Lors de l'age d'or du K1 c'est à dire dans les années 90 début 2000, Ils y avaient 3 combattants au dessus du Lots : Hoost, Aerts et Andy Hug, mais ensuite il y avait d'autre très bon combattants tel que Mike bernardo ou Le Banner capable de battre n'importe qui.

Jerome is one of the great names in K1,to bad he never became a K1 champion.He did however come very close.A great fighter.Some say he´s got a glas jaw but seeing he can take some of Spong´s very hard blows,that´s to be desputed ;) .For me Spong is clearly the better fighter,not only is he very technical , he´s also the better striker and keeps his calm when needed,something Le Banner often did not do.Today Tyrone is only 26 and has a better track record to show for then Jerome did by that age.
