The best strategy is to watch beginner copywriting videos that show you actual templates and examples, and then practice, practice and practice. And yes, signing up for newsletters helps a lot because you will see professional copywriters in action and how they are trying to sell their stuff to you (steal their strategies). Its important not to get stuck in the learning phase because you will end up wasting days. Just watch one video, read 5-10 emails and then implement the steps you have learned.
