A very good overview. However, it was the Second Schism, also known as the ‘Hunderd Year Darkness’, which lead to the formation of the Sith Order, when the exiled Jen’jidai led by Ajunta Pall met the Sith race of people on Korriban, adapted some of their practices and philosophies and eventually became the first ‘Lords of the Sith’ around 7,000 bby. The First Schism was between the Jedi and the Legions of Lettow led by Xendor at around 24,500 bby.

The original Jedi trying to push the Light Side harder, seeing how violently Tython reacted, and choosing to just move away instead of see the giant flashing warning signs the Force was putting up there is definitely an omen of what will happen to the Jedi later on.
@darthcyon2 жыл бұрын
That's not how it works. Using the light doesn't unbalance the force. They should only use the light but never abuse it. The Dark side isn't evil but when you give into your own darkness and the dark side is there to meet you, it can become a drug and you lose yourself to your own inner darkness. Acknowledge the darks place in everything and understand it but never act on it or with it. That's balance.

"There's always a bit of truth in legends." ~ Ahsoka Tano I wish someone could've explained this in 2012 when Disney bought LucasFilm and declared the EU as Legends. I have always felt that Kathleen Kennedy would bring about George's vision -- that's why he appointed her. And through learning from his padawan, Dave Filoni, the work would be done to bring Legends back into canon with some alterations. In separation from the Sequel Trilogy, I considered that most of the things in Legends did happen, from a certain point of view, but that the stories had been exaggerated to keep children in line, teaching them the difference between evil and good. Some stories may have been made up for pure entertainment, while others may have happened at another time or were confused with other events. A few... very few never happened as they were visions and prophecies of another timeline -- another reality that would've taken place, had something not changed them. Palpatine was destined to die, even in his cloned body; however, his sacrifice of people and children drove his contingency upon contingency beyond expectation. Beyond the Force's will. It began ripping the fabric of the Force itself, thus its answer, to balance the draw of power; the Dyad. I'm kind of anticipating a 'Kyle Katarn' arc in the next season of The Mandalorian. He is the Jedi Grogu reached out to.

the reason for the conflict in the current era is that most people in the galaxy today dont think of all those groups as non jedi the temples on other planets were from the era before the force users were taken to Tython this led people to think that they came first the truth is no one in lukes era knows or remembers the real history of both orders that rose due to the loss of almost all historic records due to the constant wars and changes in the galaxy and also considering the other orders that rose throughout the galaxy it would not come as a shock to me if they were built by force users that left Tython rather than pick a side in the first civil wars

It's harder to film live-action in reasonable settings; locations that don't show obvious signs of modern civilization can be hard to find. It's a lot easier to "draw" a setting you imagine than to build it. Note that the author of this video even mentions that the planet and it's weather are subject to change based on the "feel" of the Force over-all. It hasn't been inhabited in hundreds of years so extreme weathering and nobody to keep ruins up. Plus 20 years of Dark Side Dominance had to cause a lot of destruction. Plus the author of the vid says they got the location completely wrong so perhaps it's not the Tython we expected.
