Which isn't all that unprecedented, for hominids atleast there was several species of this lineage including us modern humans that were all sentient (again including us..) but with varying adaptations, proportions, and brains. Though it seems odd that for Dac there's several sentient species all arising on the same planet that don't seem to share ANY common ancestor(s) in their evolution, atleast no meaningfully close ones. (meaning the last common ancestor/ancestors of them all could be so far back to the point of not being a consider a factor) Though that partly why their world and their history is so fascinating in the lore of Star Wars!

The biggest Mon Calamari ship was 17km long. The Executor was 19km. So there's a difference there by quite a bit.

Rendili Star Drive, Corellian Engineering Corporation (CEC) Fonder Shipyards, and more. But these were to mention but a few. Mon Calamari Shipyards had only themselves, as far as I remember, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

I was hoping you would mention those whales the Mono Cala called against the Empire Also two mega creatures, a giant shrimp and a giant Jellyfish with islands on top of them. I can't find anything on them but a mon Cala that Leia, Solo, and Luke secretly meet with said don't touch the plants on the islands, illuding to island being part of mega creature

The destruction of Dac has to be one of the worst disasters in Star Wars history. Not just because of the mass death, but the loss of rich cultures, ecologies, and knowledge. All the thoughts and hopes and fears of everyone who ever entered the Oceans on a world visited by so many being deleted is just. . . well it's kinda beyond a genocide in my opinion. Or at least on the higher order of genocide. Great video. Maybe you can make one on the galaxies deepest tragedies.

In the original script for Rise of Skywalker, they were going to blow up the shipyards above Mon Cal because the First Order was using them to refuel and repair their Start Destroyers, but Rey and her team fail and end up Hijacking a star destroyer. Would have been awesome.
