The world will never see a more beatiful era of motorcycle engineering again. I saw the production racer equivalent of this bike racing this year in Schleiz with 5m distance from the track and it was a dream. It was the gnarliest 2stroke sound i ever heard and the riders were very fast! 2x TZ250reverse, 1x RS250, 1x TZ125 and 2x RS125 were leading the Race. It was like experiencing the 90s for me (born 1994, i unfortunately missed the golden era).

I love how two strokes and rotaries with the same number of rotors as 2 stroke cylinders and the same firing interval sound very similar.

Do you know what firing interval these have? Been trying to find out why they sound so different to the 90 degree V-twins like the Honda NSR or Suzuki RGV

sorry to hear that m8, but you missed out on a very special ERA of motorcycling. hear in England most of my m8s had YAMAHA 2 STROKES ...... my first tzr125 did 105 MPH it drove the local POLICE crazy i had a number plate made up saying 1/8 OF A LITER POLICE CAR EATER then i got a tzr250 and WOW this thing was special, so so sad they don"t make them anymore. if you get the chance to buy 1 get it you won"t loose money, stay safe and good luck in these challenging times

I have the tzr125 belgarda ( 4dl ) which has the same frame as the 3ma, and even that is very nippy and quite lively when that power valve opens up, I can only imagine how it feels to ride one of these beauty’s 🔥🔥
