U.K. Ford Fusion Rear Seat Catch, and Filter Revelation!

The rear passenger seat on Giddy Kipper would not release. still do not know exactly why, apart from a broken catch, caused by the stiff mechanism, however, here is a 'fix' !

Managed to fix my RH rear seat this afternoon...the only biggy was those torx screws holding that fork type thingy......had to use smallish torx driver and put open end spanner... gosh they were tight...factory tight I would say....didnt need to move side shelf.... Anyways all done thanks to you Mr.... with WD40 and sewing machine oil as lubricant ta mate......

stesso problema sulla mia ford fiesta, inserirò fascetta per tirare, il punto di aggancio è quella specie di manicotto? mettendo una fascetta posso poi richiudere o farà troppo spessore?

My problem is other way round narrow part of seat RH side looking from rear but much the same I guess!!
