U-PURAM SHIVAN TEMPLE:
Beautiful Hill temple situated on the kelamangalam-Rayakottai Road, varaganapalli stop , take right to U-PURAM village.
from village to hill need to walk around 30-45 mins to uphill.
In the downhill , Sakthi temple is located.
from there need to start the walking, on the way Muneeshawara temple also we can see.
Stone arch is the place where the hill starts, while started climbing the hill, after 15-20 mins travel,we can reach Hanuman Rock painting, after that we can see big rock then the small pond, after crossing the pond, there will be Walls which were the older civilization, then one darker region to enter ,there is one well beside need to go carefully, after crossing the well almost to reach the top, once reached on the top, leftside there is Hanuman temple and small pond will be there, then right side need to up onemore big rock, after climbing that rock we can see Lord Shiva temple where Mallikarjuna swamy we can dharsan .
on the top of the hill, there is beautiful view in 360 degree around full of green dense forest, mesmerizing breeze we can feel the nature as well as spiritual feelings by seeing Lord Shiva.
here available Shiva lingam is worshipped by Arjuna when he was in vanavasa.
like so many sithar and sadhu also visited this temple and meditated on here situated lord Shiva.
