I wonder how events would have played out if King George III had just visited the 13 American colonies, met the colony representatives, and discussed the issues that the colonists were unhappy about? Would the 13 colonies had rebelled if there had been discussion and dialogue? We'll never truly know.

Well, the thing is by that point in time, Britain was already on the road to it's current system. It would've been the Prime Minister we wanted to have spoke with, whom in this case was Lord North.

I always found it strange that after the war the then new American government raised taxes. I always thought they fought because tax was to high....and yet they raised it. Weird. But good point, I guess in them days for a king to travel so far was considered too dangerous

If the colonists had received representation in parliament, it’s possible the USA would have become a commonwealth nation, like Canada. But as big as the USA became, its independence was likely inevitable, either way

Thank You to Her Majesty The Queen for acknowledging Mrs. Meghan Markle, And letting her have her American baby into your family. Well, Our family now. With the mass support you have for Us Americans, We shall honor and cherish your legacy here in the United States. Starting with the anthem "God Save The Queen". By visiting the Liberty Bell you showed that you hold strong support on our Republic from which your great great great great great grandfather had initially started. America is a great nation that is very grateful for the British to have come here. Canada say they're grateful, But it's truly America that is grateful. So grateful enough that most of the country is made up by English names, Like Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, even counties named New London County, Jamestown, Prince George County, Middlesex County, and Cambridge County in Massachusetts. New England having to be named after the Old England to which you reign under. Maine having to be the most British place to visit here in the USA, And so as Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. To show how supportive We Americans are, We still fly the Grand Union Flag, Which is our last, But yet official British Rule flag, We used to fly it for Revolutionary reasons, But now we fly it as part of saying "Duchess Meghan of Sussex's Country" the Union Jack in the corner meaning UK and the Red and White Stripes meaning USA. I've got to say Madam, You are doing one Heck of a job, And i've got to say along with your other loyalists; GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!
