Does Fire Protection make it easier to become a firefighter after you get out?
@tropicalterrarium17424 жыл бұрын
BY miles. It is always a challenge to get hired, your chances goes up 90 percent or more. They bring your name to the top of the list already as ex military, but as a military firefighter, they want you. I graduated from goodfellow in 05. Solid question.
@officialjeremiahblake4 жыл бұрын
Tropical Terrarium I’m joining soon and fire protection is my top choice. I’m going active
@tropicalterrarium17424 жыл бұрын
@@officialjeremiahblake That being said it is still a challenge to get hired, but with time you will get hired with "AF firefighter" on your resume. You will get almost any certification in the military easier than you can on the outside, and it has more value because you have applied it to a real job while gaining experience with those certifications. Aside from EMT, which can be easier obtained as a civilian. You will be a firedog at goodfellow airbase. The memories from that school man. Great time, there is no academy like goodfellow's.

@USAirForceRecruiting Жыл бұрын
Enmanuel, Based on Air Force requirements, the minimum Armed Forces Qualifications Test (AFQT) score required for entry on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is 31. However, due to the high number of individuals who are qualified and waiting to depart for Basic Military Training (over 90% of them possessing an ASVAB score over 50 percentile) your recruiter may not be able to process you and may ask you to return when they have space on their waiting list to add new applicants. If you haven't already done so, contact your Air Force Recruiter to discuss your scores and options.
