@@helifanodobezanozi7689 Agreed. He's only doing this because trump thinks he can use this to say that it was HIM who helped Ukraine because Europe didn't. Which is hilarious because Europe has indeed helped greatly. But the xenophobes who idolize him eat that crap up for breakfast all day...

There are a lot of US citizens who don't understand how this funding and aid works. It's actually good for the US too. As our military complex is one if not our biggest exporter. Not only do we create jobs in the US restocking munitions. But when this war is over, Ukraine will need to rebuild and tap into their abundance of natural resources. Who do you think will be first in line for those mega project contracts? The US.

I live in the poor state of Arkansas and I have been preaching this for the last few years now. Arkansas has received 3 6 billion dollar contracts to our HIMARS and GLSDB Manufacturing plants which has Made a major impact in our economy. Our state has had a surplus the last 3 years. I believe Texas also got major military contracts so the amount of economic growth this has created cannot be ignored by the American people. And odds are these contracts are going to continue.

@@johnschuring5726 Instead of "Russia is being fought by a single country." It could easily instead be understood as Ukraine is the only country fighting invaders all alone. Wouldn't that give even more weight and merit to the argument of providing them resources, ya know since an "entire continent" is not fighting along with them and sending troops like in WW2?

Where are you getting that information? 90% of that money being "Givin to Ukraine" never leaves America it gets put back into the America's military complex in the form of research and development and for the next generation of American weaponry and we send Ukraine our old about to be decommissioned weapons. I live in the poor state of Arkansas. Over the last 2 years, we have received 3. 6 billion dollar contracts to our HIMARS GLSDB Manufacturing plants, which help us for the first time in 20 years have an economic surplus, of several 100 million dollars. Arkansas is not the only Poor state to receive these contracts. 9 other states have received large military contracts to manufacture new and next generation ammunition. I genuinely want you to do this research. You owe it to yourself to know what's really going on. And that you're being lied to.

I agree on the NOT getting the 2% in all of the eu, this is sadly on free choise. Usa made the weaponindustry in eu not as normal. Usa sends their weapons to eu. Whe should never let this happened. We need to start our own industry again and buy less weapons from the usa make them in the eu. We need an army reintroduction in the eu.... conscripted needed. We have a couple of good makers in eu and we should buy and make the weapons we need TOGETHER. Usa promised ukraine defence when they returned their nukes. Would this war happened if they had kept the nukes? So this is usa making a mistake by not giving the aid they promised. For now eu has doneted 1,5 time the amount of usa.
