@@emellecampbell-humphrey8489 don't worry, no bad press or rumors about KEM and i don't expect any but i also never expected everything that's happening to mr beast right now. Josh and Gabby did get into a little trouble during covid and they had to apologize, but KEM and Jolly seem like genuine good people and i hope it stays that way!

Agree. But it has to be authentic Korean food. Real Korean people who buy real Korean fresh veggies. And are lifetime real Korean cooks. Who Know what they are doing!!! I don't want Roscoe to have another bad "Korean" eating experience like on the cruise ship!!! Does anyone live in Roscoe's area? Can you recommend an authentic Korean food place? With an authentic Korean food experience!!!??? We need to find the perfect place. Not Roscoe, just picking a random place on DoorDash!!!

I'm also a huge fan of Korean Englishman myself and to be honest, Korean Englishman has changed my life for the better cause it has allow me to step out of my food comfort zone and allow me to experience new food and I'm grateful for it. Like in one of his episodes Josh said "You don't have to like it." and it true cause you really don't have to like something but if you're willing to try you'll be better for it.

We use venigar, seasonings, soy sauce, bean paste, etc, for the Korean style of pickled vegetables. There are many different types of vegetables under the same categories, especially in different countries, different continents. Amazing nature.💜

Correction are hilarious and occasionally he offers some wisdom/ insight. I love this channel, so glad you did the Korean military shows. Correction on pickled, it is a preservation method. Acid is not always involved. Fermentation can pickle items, sauerkraut is pickled and kimchi ( lots of different types of kimchi ) are fermented.

Petasites hybridus Also Known As Bog Rhubarb, Butterbur or Devil's Hat. Not actually a Rhubarb it just has a slight resemblance to it, Rhubarb is Rheum x hybridum. Petasites hybridus is a broadleaf deciduous perennial groundcover aquatic with green foliage.
@shanewilson911Ай бұрын
those "clovers" could be microgreens? regular rhubarb works well with strawberries....strawberry rhubarb pie is BEST especially with vanilla ice cream! also rhubarb is a stalk veggie and it can kind of look like Swiss chard. and idk about bog. I mean with Japanese foods, you can have cooked spinach with a lil soy sauce and sesame oil, some other ingredients and its really good as a cold dish, snack, or side. I think its called Gomae.

The greens are probably micro greens, meaning baby plants. Eg. Arugula, pea shoots, etc

I would love for you to react to this song because I know you like it as much as I do and you always get so excited when you hear it. The song is somewhat sad but beautiful and more so in his voice and in his way of interpreting, you know. Greetings from Gran Canaria (Spain).🫶🏼🫰🏼🖤🌹

Sorry I just watched this video, but I wanted to say that the meaning of pickled in english is food that is preserved in vinegar, but in my country, Romania, we have recipes to conserve food using different kind of seasonings. I mean you can conserve vegetables in a mix of water, salt, black peppercorns, mustard seeds, horseradish and maybe some vinegar. Depending on the thighs you wanna preserve. Also, as I said, English is not my first language so I'm trying my best to explain the recipes using English words 😂... Google is my friend in this scenario.. so please understand 😅

Question, people: I have been reading the chat on the side, and they were talking about Viszla puppies. Now, I am Hungarian, and there is a Hungarian breed called Vizsla. But I have seen VIszla written under a video before, where I am pretty sure I saw a vizsla running around. Sorry, this is sooo random and off topic, but... is that a thing in the US? Are they called Viszlas for some reason? Or is it just a misspell that happens often because of the unfamiliar language? I swear I am just confused and curious, not trying to judge.

Hi Roscoe! Whenever you have the time, you should totally watch this Korean program called “My Name is Gabriel”. Synopsis: A program where you live 'the real life of that person' for 72 hours under the name of one of the world’s 8 billion people in a place where no one knows you. The first three episodes focuses on Park Bo Gum and Park Myung Soo. Park Bo Gum’s scenes are very heartfelt and touching! Hope you’ll tune in :)

Roscoe. PLEASE READ my theory. Here is my theory why you aren't a fruit or vegetable guy. You grew up in New Hampshire, right? I was born in Oklahoma. Lived in Texas. Then Kansas. And Colorado. We had access to fresh produce, either grown in the state or shipped up from Mexico. It was not unusual to stop at a farm stands on the side of the road to buy all your fresh fruits and veggies. Plus, we always had a garden and could eat vine ripened tomatoes. Freshly picked green beans. Fresh everything. We ate all of this food when it was at its optimal time of picking. Back in the old days, we did not eat fruits and veggies that were picked before they were ready to eat. Most grocery stores now are full of fruits and veggies picked too soon. Supposedly, by the time they get to a grocery store, they are ready to eat. NO!!! So, I am just like you. I don't like the fruits and vegetables you buy in grocery stores. They are stricken of all natural taste and nutrients. Grocery stores will buy pallets of past due ripened fruit and veggies. Then they put them on sale in the grocery store. Just like your oranges, they are all hit or miss!! If you ate perfectly ripened oranges right off the tree in Florida at their side of the road stands, you would never have a miss. And all the grocery stores have fresh fruits and veggies. So again, my point. Almost all southern states have the best tasting fruits and veggies. No misses. When I mentioned Colorado, I was talking about when I lived in Eastern Colorado. The farm stands there were fresh fruit from Mexico. Many Mexicans live there and get it all shipped in. The Very best cantaloupe and watermelon I've ever eaten besides the southern states was bought in Colorado. They also would have vine ripened peaches from Georgia. We would buy them by the crate or bushel. Every peach was a hit and perfectly ripe and juicy and sweet and delicious. Colorado also had the very best Bing Cherries. We would buy 2 huge bags of them because we would eat a whole bag riding home. Where you grew up, you have never tasted delicious fruits and veggies! You didn't have access to them. In the south veggies are seasoned so deliciously you can't stop eating them. You've never had a pot of fresh off the vine green beans. Freshly snapped. Cooked with a ham hock and lard or bacon grease. And you add Freshly made cornbread...you got a meal!! So I'll end with my theory. You are like the twins. They were not salad guys. Or veggie guys. But they had never had them paired and seasoned with other food. And they loved them and devoured them. They ate every morsel of everything. If you ever ate with Ollie and Josh and had this food, I have a feeling you would eat everything too. It would be delicious to you too! You have the potential to like fruit and veggies if they are Freshly ripe or picked and cooked in unison with delicious meat or fish. And seasoned with delectable spices you've never tasted before!!! You do realize most Asians go to the market every day. Buy fresh meat and veggies and fruit every day. Same for all Asian food places. Even the chefs are sometimes the ones going to the market to pick everything fresh to put on their menu. I hope you get to eat with Josh and Ollie someday to make you a believer!!!
