About time they’re getting decent training, you can tell they put in the work too (a lot of dry fires, practice on their own time). Definitely doesn’t look like the “skating” marines I knew back in 2015-2018. Wonder why? It’s simple, their receiving gear that is not from 2008-2012 (the new plate carrier sucks), better weapon systems and attachments, and decent training. They’re finally giving the marines what they’ve been asking for years. Putting effort into them, in result they will put in effort for you. They will start caring about their jobs. Morale goes long ways

@robertomaganajr18382 жыл бұрын
@@Frost_actual SOCOM will always receive good training. They’re their own little world, it’s like as if they’re their own branch. Recon (special forces capable) are really good too. Many times out performed the Army Rangers during training, but we all have our own roles to play. Recon hasn’t been on a combat deployment since like 2012. Primarily since the rangers have been selected to assist SOCOM with various operations, and recons main priority is maritime security. Now, as for the basic infantry, negative. The combat mindset wasn’t there, it was gone, in almost every unit except 7th marines. Our training was very plain. A check in the box. No one cared. Not in LAR, and not in Victor 3/5. It was an embarrassment. It wasn’t until 2018-19ish when the infantry started to care a little bit more, started to become a little bit more lax with non-issued gear that wasn’t from 2010, was letting go of the micro-management style of leadership. Marines stopped caring if you did 3 pumps to Oki, Korea, Jordan, Kuwait, etc. Juniors no longer cared who you were from experience but from your methods of leadership. If they saw that you were not a leader, just a rank with an empty vessel then they would not follow you and would do their own thing. Which in a way was a good change. Because many of those “leaders” were liabilities. Still are to this day. But it’s improved TREMENDOUSLY from my time through 2015-2021.

There are many videos with this content. But I couldn't see any posts about Turkish Special Forces. I would love to see a video of yours about the Turkish Special Forces (Bordeaux Berets), who have come first in NATO competitions many times. There is also the "Underwater Strike Team (SAT)" similar to the US Neavy Seals unit. Its first personnel were trained in the US Navy SEALs course. It is one of the best in the world in the marine field. The Burgundy Berets and SAT Commandos are extremely well trained and equipped. Seems Like the Marines have been Well Equipped but still running Old school room clearing. I thought Time with the Australian Army and the Techniques Taught from their MARSOC CounterPart would Commit to Change. I guess it is a long process as they need to slowly improve their doctrine.
@kyleorlando37632 жыл бұрын
Indeed although some marine units are implementing some better cqb tactics some of the guys are Pieing and using the high ready more don’t really like the fact guys shoot the center target and walk into the room they need to clear corners better and it’s been said some units don’t like taking corners first but that’s what center checks are for stepping Infront of the door threshold and slightly pausing or stopping to engage a target before selecting your path of least resistance and taking a corner there getting there but the evolution of higher grade cqc,cqb still needs to take place Australia definitely has the best standard operation procedures when it comes to standard infantry tactics in close environments but there model was made by SOF guys so the standard is better it’s Atleast noticeable in the most recent training videos released by them
@shaolinred76802 жыл бұрын
When things got real - Fallujah, Ramamadi, Tikrit - the Marines cleared rooms with frag and, later, thermobaric grenades. Sometimes they'd give a call out to clear a structure, sometimes not. The Marines left all the "pie cutting" and "corner digging" to the High Speed boys who got all shot up and found out the hard way their hostage rescue room entries didn't matter for much when a fanatic with a PKM was waiting for you. Besides the SAS, what battles did the Australian Army take part in?
@kyleorlando37632 жыл бұрын
@@shaolinred7680 yeah I mean it’s all about what tactics you wanna use and how fierce the fighting is you might clear from the door or do more slow progressive room clearing methods rather then aggressive entry methods and if your in a area where enemy soldiers are the only guaranteed people in the area with you then you will bomb buildings instead of clearing them to cause the risk factor of civilian casualties dosent exist so you’ll use grenades and rocket launchers on them airstikes and it’s not easy to just storm a fortified position cqb changes in conventional fighting u wanna take everything slower that’s when the basics matter when even conventional guys are fighting in Ukraine you don’t see they crisp clean aggressive entry or combat videos it’s all slowed down
