Always enjoy added new commemoratives to the collection. There's plenty of early commemoratives to keep you busy as well. Keep stacking.

You have beautiful collection of commemorative coins. My first commemorative is the 2020 Women’s Suffrage. I recently got the Rushmore and an Olympic commemorative coins in limited edition sets. A couple of coins that I really like are the Marines and WWII commemoratives. I’m going to find the older WWII commemorative to add with the soon to be released WWII 75th Victory commemorative. Thanks for sharing your awesome collection. God Bless and Semper Fi.
@Coin_Scavenger4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, yes the ones you mentioned are pretty awesome. I'm not tracking the 75V WWII Commemorative? Are you talking about the silver eagle? The only commemorative scheduled to be released later this year is the Mayflower. Thanks for commenting. HOOAH.
@e_hwhite64804 жыл бұрын
Coin_Scavenger Yes, I had in mind the silver eagle proof and gold eagle proof with 75V privy mark that will be available soon. Both of these coins are scheduled to be released a little earlier than the Mayflower. The WWII 75TH VICTORY silver medal (I’m calling this a commemorative coin) also is scheduled for release before December.

I'm from the UK it's impressive to see some other collections I have only really paid any interest into UK commemorative coins Nice to see you have this over there 2 questions though do you have any in circulation of any amount¿? And what are the mintage numbers for the half and full doller on avrg of corse ¿? Either way it's awesome to see Have you ever looked at the UK collections
@Coin_Scavenger3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for commenting. I haven't checked out UK commemoratives yet but I'm interested in seeing what is being produced. US Modern Commemorative were never intended for circulation but I have another video of my early commemoratives which were often circulated. Here is a link to a good website that will give you the mintages to many of the Modern Commemoratives. moderncommemoratives.com Hope that helps answer your questions.

@@Coin_Scavenger massive help thank you That's what I love about the royal mint most of the commemoratives went into circulation Lots won't become worth much more than face value until god forbid the queen dies and we get a whole new set But some very rare ones like the Kew gardens 50p Celebrating the royal botanical gardens 400k ish printed Worth between £50-100 We have the £2 commemorative collections Olympics not much different than your own But yet again in circulation Have lots for events and famous people much like you lot do over the pond Where I can see a difference is that we also have what you could term as gimmick coins For example 200,000 ISH 10P's For each letter of the alphabet Or the 50p collection of Beatrix potter's famous characters from her book For example Peter rabbit Jemima puddle duck Ect ect This is doing wonders for getting the young interested in coin collecting Don't forget a currencys worth is only equal to the belief and interest on said currency That is why I was happy to see so many over there But it's a bit of a downer to realise you can't just happen upon one in your change I love getting a nice fresh bag of 50ps and going through them finding the commemoratives

@@madyottoyotto3055 Glad I could help. I like the early commemoratives vs. the modern commemoratives. Most of the ones I have are lightly circulated but the designs are much more interesting.

Thanks for commenting. I've been thinking about doing an updated video. I do my best to stay up-to-date on the silver commemoratives. I'm still waiting to receive the 2020 Enhanced Basketball Hall of Fame coin which doesn't ship from the mint until Aug. The Women's Suffrage Commemoratives also do not release until Aug. After I receive them, I can do a 2020 updated video.

richcali21 Thank you. I had to pace myself to gather up the entire collection. A couple of them are fairly hard to find in the original mint packaging (which isn't show in the video). It probably took over a year to put it together but I think it is now worth it. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again.

What kind of trays are those that you're using? Are they part of a larger storage box? Thanks!
@Coin_Scavenger8 жыл бұрын
They are from this company, Leuchtturm, which I think is European based. I normally buy them from eBay because I can get better deals. They do fit a storage box but I just use the trays by themselves. www.leuchtturm.com/epages/leuchtturm_eu.sf/en_EU/?ObjectPath=/Shops/leuchtturm_eu

Hello, great set , do you plan to get these coins graded? I have been collecting modern silver commemorative coins and tying to decide to grade my coins or not
@Coin_Scavenger6 жыл бұрын
Hello Robert. I have thought about it but have decided not to. It would just be too expensive to get them graded and it would not increase the value of many of them enough to justify doing it. If I had it to do over again, I would probably buy already graded coins and let someone else take the hit on the grading fees. I've bought most of them directly from the mint. I understand that sometimes I pay too much by doing this but it's just my way of showing my support. Hopefully that makes sense. Great question.
