Unfortunately, our justice system was created at a time when absolute proof of guilt was almost always impossible. Innocent people were often given horrific punishments in Britain. If the American founders could be brought forward in time and could learn about cameras and livestreams and DNA and all the other ways we can KNOW some people -- like this murderer -- are guilty, I don't think they'd give them the unearned benefit of a trial that only re-traumatizes the survivors and families. When guilt is proven from day one, by so much irrefutable proof, the killer should just be sentenced. Not presumed innocent.

As a wounded warrior family, we send you both our deepest condolences and hugs in this horrific time in your lives. As MoeNight above has stated, it’s a slap in the face to our brave men and women who defend and protect us to have to witness this travesty of a sentence and live it like your family has. You are loved and respected by us always. - a Greenside Corpsman Wounded Warrior and family.

Do you wanna know the truth he’s probably reliving the moments that he killed those kids I mean think about it that’s such a major event think about all the little things that we don’t know about when he was actually there and actually shooting them watching them being tear in pain that’s something that no matter what he ever tries to do he’s never going to forget about because that’s traumatic to somebody who’s even crazy

Oh ok, i think that the woman juror not only denied justice to the family, but also denied justice to the accused, to her oath as a juror, and denied justice to prevail, i think that she allowed her feelings and emotion to influence her judgment in a matter so heinous and unforgivable..i think she has put the whole american judicial system in a spotlight..

I disagree with all the name calling in this court room, it's so childish and petty. These adults need to act as adults instead of elementary student's in school as kid's use to do to each other years pass when they were student's.
